Non-magical warrior.
How do I make a warrior that is effective without using class skills? If I try to tank without class skills then everyone complains. But my character is a warrior, not a f*ing wizard.

Even the 1h/shield skills will put a magic bubble around my character.

That's because you're a DRAGONknight and not a Warrior. Dragons are magical creatures... expect magical skills, too.
There's no way you could tank without using Draconic and Earthen skill trees, because they are a must for tanking.

Just except it or don't tank.

go back to world of warcraft if you just want to be a warrior
For all ESO's freedom with classes, crafting etc this puzzled me too. I created a Templar and have just focused on the 2-h skills in conjunction with the healing line and see how that works. Haven't tried Dragonknight yet so I have no idea how effective that would be without the class lines mentioned above but I'd like to think Zenimax might add the ability to be non-magical and still do a role effectively. Seems silly to promote all that character freedom only to stifle it with typical "class mechanisims".

I'm kinda the same way, I just wanna crack something over the head with a big hammer and not have to use magic in any way, I went with a Dragonknight because the Templar class reminded me too much of Paladins (ick!), But now i realize that even the Dragonknight class uses some sort of magic also.
If you want the least magic-y tanking, try nightblade tanking, surprisingly strong.

All the classes are mages. A fantasy RPG with only 4 classes and they're all mages of one sort or another. What kind of topsy turvy world are we living in?
