Briarheart Armorset + Hunding's Weapon Set + Stormfist Monster Set

Hi guys I'm a non dlc player. Is this a good set for my pve stam dk?

If is for DPS, is ok... for now.

I can confirm that Stormfist is 1 of the good monster sets for PvE, not the only one but among the top 10. Briarheart is fine but you'll evolve into something more dynamic soon enough (it's good for burst dmg but not optimal for advance content cuz it falls behind). The idea of what's good is there, just need to keep evolving and make sure all other aspects of the build are good. Also the rotation ins important, practice it and adapt to any changes you make.

DK is the only class that is not optimal DPS, but all classes are DPS and you are not wrong if is not a trial (GD's and arenas are fine to do w some personal flavor).

Adapt to your build, reach new levels of power, and enjoy this wonderful game.

Jewelry crafting is expensive. I think it is better to get them from drop set (like Briarheart).

i run that combination on my Nightblade, just Hundings as crafted armor, and farmed Briarheart weapons and jewelry.

that is much cheaper, because jewelry is very expensive if you craft it. even improving that will cost some of the most expensive mats ;)

but it is worth it as a solo char, dont know how it performs on a DK, though.

dont listen to the max dps junkies, as average player with an average build, youll be fine for at least 90% of the game, if not more ;)

and Briarheart helps to stay alive with its passive heal, what is the prerequisit to keep damaging the enemy.

This is a solid baseline PvE set choice for Stam toon

Stam DK damage is a bit on the lower end of things, but they are very fun to play.
(crowd control and crowd DPS is very good)

You can do 90+% of content in Purple Crafted and Overland gear - i know i have.

(Golded out BiS is Never a Silver Bullet - if you can't compete in Purple, BiS Gold won't matter.)

Proper Rotation and Training will net you a decent DPS, and good survivability with these sets (need to have multiple AoE DoT for Crit chance to proc Briarheart)

Stormfist is a nice choice, as long as the target stays still. Having Slimecraw as an alternative is usually worthwhile.
