Graphics sharpening
Hi there, I am having a strange phenom happening... as i get closer, the armor/clothes on npcs are really blurry and often only sharpen after I talk to them... it is really ugly.. plus even with medium textures everyting looks not really antialiased. antialias is on however... i am running an imac with a 775 if that helps

Thanks
Marko

It's basically texture pop-in as they load from memory. Seems normal cus I have the same issue, and probably non-fixable since even an SSD/gtx980 does not seem to fix it

wow, that is bad. skyrim looked much crisper with the hd textures and did not have that problem. talk about worse graphics three years later

It's like people expect games to pump out the most powerful graphics ever with no regards to optimization or gameplay.

if that were true, it would run smoother and not much choppier than skyrim. and i get that it is an mmo, i have played lotro for a very long time.

i think that texture popin is butt-ugly and it should run a lot smoother for a modern game - especially given that fact that it uses low res textures when one is far away.

that is why i asked if it is a behavior that is to be expected or if my settings are wrong.

it is something to be expected, in MMO or game in general, especially in MMO, it'll really shown because of those reason that i posted the link above

but i found something interesting here, take a look : http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/128188/texture-rendering-error

i'll try it myself
