ESO account permanently banned.

My account got permanently banned because of offensive speech.
It were ISIS jokes.
Personally great game, but I think a permanent ban is an over reaction because this is my first time I actually got reported for any matter.
Now since zenimax would not respond properly to my question I came here.
Is there still a chance my account will be unbanned or can I get a refund from zenimax because let's be honest the game is not cheap.

Edit: Okay for less than a day I was unbanned by french eso support.
They said they wanted to give me a second chance but then I got banned again thou I dindu nuffin this time. Meredith said "The decision has been made by the highest authority possible to permanently deactivate the account."

I agree with you this is retarded people have a block/ignore button maybe they should use it more. I currently have a 72hr account suspension for telling Russians to stop spamming us all in chat in Russian... Now the amount of players I know on ESO who auto block that bs... Seems fully acceptable for ESO's moderating team to fully allow verbal constant attacks on Dark Elves, Argonians, Khajit and people to call each other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on a daily basis...

Thou I got lucky since my steam wasn't linked to the banned account.
So I made a new account a linked it with my steam.
If I did had linked my banned account I had to make a new steam and buy the game again.

Maybe if you try being a decent human being, they wouldn't ban you. The person above's original message mocked transgender, disabled and Native American people.

They're lucky all they got was a warning, imo. I would have handed them a permaban.

Also, freedom of speech does not apply to private forums. The 1st Amendment only protects you from government censorship. Zenimax is free to censor you until the cows come home. Thankfully.

OP wasn't permabanned because toxic chati. They was permabanned because of joking about criminal activity. Yes, conscripting to terrorist organization isn't OK.

There is difference between imaginary organization from SCIFI universe like Siths and real criminal organization from our world.

it's just words, chat, nothing that can affect. Even if some people are disturbed because it triggers some ideas, they can add to ignore. And even if ZOS however do want to wrongly punish something like this, a mute or temporary ban is enough. Applying a perma ban for chat is excessive and i can even say an abuse. It's not the same severity as hacks, use of exploits, dev impersonation, etc.
