I tought people stopped bothering to look at it ages ago.
You take games way to serious.
Most of the times zenimax don't care whatever happens and ignore people or that's how I got the feeling from the english support.
The french were nice and quick. Maybe you should try the french support?
10/10
Clear the game off your account, rebuy it, create a new ESO account and this time have some respect for others..
you don't have free speech in any private areas which you don't personally own,, which include message board, game chats, any chats which are owned by someone other than yourself. You want to speak the most offensive things in the world, feel free to create you own private space which you own.. then you can set up any rules you deem fit.. so long as the speech being said isn't directly leading to crimes being committed..
A chat box in an MMO is subject to the rules and regulations of Zenimax and as such you aren't protected by free speech..
Hey Im just commenting, again, in a post that apparently is generating interest because it is still at the front of the line of threads. I dont insult other people for having an opposing opinion. There is no need for any of us to be mean to others. In fact, being mean to someone because you dont like what they have to say is an awful lot like what happened in Paris (and many other places throughout history).
My opinion on it is that words are not a good reason to ban someone from a game they paid for. I respect the people who think that it is, and obviously the people over at Zenimax do. They win.
Pretty much anything you joke about can, and will eventually, hit someones sore spot and upset them. As a guild leader I get these complaints all the time. I look at the spirit of the thing. If someone says something in the spirit of being funny, or trying to, then no harm done. If someone says something in the spirit of being mean or evil, I address it. If the OP is being truthful and was joking around then he didnt MEAN any harm. Was his joke distasteful? To some obviously yes. But was he out to hurt anyone? No.
Have a great day and please, let's be nice with our words. People are entitled to have their own opinions.
