Y'all realise Elder Scroll's lore has always been very queer right? Vivec is obviously pan, intersex, and gender fluid- the hist can change the biological sexe of argonians with gender dysphoria, plus they're sexeless at birth- Daedric princes are genderless beings- the Buoyant Armigers' original name pre-realise meant 'gay samurai'- Bjornolfr and Hrodulf from skyrim- the joke book from daggerfall- Molag Bal is referred to as both male and female in multiple games (SAME game)- I can keep going on for ages... Even if you only played the MMO, there have been transgender character plotlines since Summerset. A fact which people like the following person seem oblivious to despite having bought multiple DLCs:

The DLCs you purchased likely had "woke" content in them, too, yet before it was never a problem before... you might want to ask yourself why that is...

Nah, I don't think that most of the posters here have a phobia, and I can even agree with them to an extent that diversity shouldn't be ham-fisted into a story.

The main part that I disagree with is that that's what's happening here. LGBTQ+ characters have been in the Elder Scrolls for a long time now, and it was never an issue. Most players didn't even realize that they were "woke" (as evidenced by the fact that they kept buying expansions and playing the game even after those characters were released). To me, that shows that the "woke" characters in this game should not be a problem, even to those who disagree with those politics. The fact that it is becoming an issue only now speaks more to how much people are influenced by culture warriors on social media rather than any actual problems with the game's story or politics.
