Phobia means aversion. It can be fear, hate, disgust, etc.
Even if you only played the MMO, there have been transgender character plotlines since Summerset. A fact which people like the following person seem oblivious to despite having bought multiple DLCs:
The DLCs you purchased likely had "woke" content in them, too, yet before it was never a problem before... you might want to ask yourself why that is...
Nah, I don't think that most of the posters here have a phobia, and I can even agree with them to an extent that diversity shouldn't be ham-fisted into a story.
The main part that I disagree with is that that's what's happening here. LGBTQ+ characters have been in the Elder Scrolls for a long time now, and it was never an issue. Most players didn't even realize that they were "woke" (as evidenced by the fact that they kept buying expansions and playing the game even after those characters were released). To me, that shows that the "woke" characters in this game should not be a problem, even to those who disagree with those politics. The fact that it is becoming an issue only now speaks more to how much people are influenced by culture warriors on social media rather than any actual problems with the game's story or politics.
The game was woke long before the new character. If you are just cancelling now, you are only being manipulated by social media culture warriors.
They got plenty of clouds to yell at.
