Okay... a Few More Irritating Questions :)
Sorry... Inside joke from another thread :).

But the questions are real :).

I reached level 18, and I can choose from 1 of 3 pieces of furniture (a Bookcase, a Bed, or Something else (can't recall)). I'd prefer have the Bookcase, but only if I can actually store stuff in it... otherwise, I'd rather have the Bed for Immersion sake. So does anyone know if the 'Imperial Bookcase Swirled' is just for looks, or an Actual container? I looked it up on Wiki, but it doesn't specify one way or another.

This is probably more Hopeful Wishing than an actual question; but... Will Alchemy Harvesting ever get better? Primarily regarding TorchBugs and Butterflies. I'd say roughly about 10% of the TorchBugs I harvest actually provides a Thorax... and 'Maybe' 3% of the Butterflies give me Butterfly Wings. And my 2 favorite Poisons both use Butterfly Wings, and one uses TorchBug Thorax. But I can rarely keep the poisons in stock. So mostly I'm wondering if, somewhere down the line my skill increases, or I can select something that increases my Harvest Yield.... or Something.

Advance Thanx for any/all Enlightenment :).

The book case comes empty, although you can put books inside manually, at the cost of quite a few item slots.
Skorne Tet'Zu 15 października 2020 o 22:19
Oh... that's sound kind of cool. But I've never actually picked up a book. I've read tons, but they don't seem to actually get picked up. So, where do these books come from.... and what do you mean by 'at the cost of quite a few item slots.?

Edit: Oh Wait... Items Slots; are you speaking of the set number of items that can go inside of a house? I've 'sort of' read bits and pieces here and there that led me to believe there are caps regarding items in homes, but didn't really understand what it meant.

Yeah there are definitely furnishing caps on homes. For reference the Antiquarian home has a cap of 600. As for books if you wanted to add books to the book shelf they would also be furnishing items; which, through your travels in tamriel you may come across some. Manually putting them on the book shelf could possibly be a bit fiddly in my experience.

As a secondary response, every alt you make you will get the same furnishing options with that level up reward, so there is a possibility to get all of them through leveling. Of course all of them are relatively cheap in guild stores if you’d rather obtain them that way.

When I first started I chose the bed haha.. I only had one of the inn rooms so I figured RP wise it’s better to have a nice place to rest my head.

item slots - when you are at house in menu to edit somewhere at buttons you can find description how much what type etc items there are in the house also its limit...
for crafting resources (bugs, flowers, geodes etc.) it is something like: simple said on 10 you get 1 with bonus (not simply said there is RNG which works in its mysterious ways...).

For the harvesting it will always be like that. The idea is that until lvl50 CP160 you don't really need potions or poisons because you keep leveling so much that everything is outdated really fast, so you keep harvesting them until CP160 (lvl at which your gear and poison stop leveling) to use them on maximum stats potions and poisons. There is a skill that make you able to craft 4 potion or poison for the price of one so you'll save on ingredients.

If you don't have the space or the time to harvest them you can always buy them at guild store.
There's also a skill when above lvl 50 that increase the speed of harvesting but I can't recall the name.

Of course that is for the optimal playthrough, if you enjoy crafting your potions keep doing that you must have fun first. Just know that the drop rate will likely never change.

You may want to check these two websites.

Pretty sure that taking a look at Alchemy passives and see the 4th one takes less time than asking on forums

Awesome. Now the OP actually knows what to look at.

The OP is at level 18. The game can feel overwhelming in the beginning. If the OP spends some time reading through UESP and Alcast HQ, I am sure everything will be fine.

Alchemy: For every effect there is usually more than one plant that will give you the same effect. A really good way to get your alchemy up is to spend some time farmng reagents and just experiment. I bet you'll find a much more common plant that will give you the same result as butterfly wings and torchbug thoraxes. I know I never use them.

Buying ingredients can be expensive. I know I make the vast majority of my money selling alchemy ingredients and nirnhoned weapons/armour for research. Basically if you're going to use poison or potions in bulk it's better to farm and learn how to make them yourself.

After you've learned what does what, with what, you don't need that many of anything to keep youself self-sufficient.

Edited to say don't forget to eat one of everything. You get the first property of all reagents by sticking them down your gullet :)

1. It would take even less time to just Ignore me.
2. I use that passive; I was at 4 poisons, now I'm at 8; this is helpful, but when you dual-wield you go through poisons rather quickly, so the more I can make, the better.
3. If you see my name on a post... just don't click on it; I'm less annoying that way.

@WatchDog and Dex.... Thanx :)

@Turtle: I'm actually maintaining a chart, and "Yes, you are correct.", thus far I have 20 ways of making the Poison I like using 8 different Reagents. I was hoping, however, for better possibilities with TorchBugs and Butterflies 'Only' because they are everywhere. All the other ingredients are just random finds when and if I stumble over a plant to pluck :). But I did just upgrade to 8 poisons, so that's going to be massively helpful!!! (Woot)

However, my second poison (which I use on a Staff when I turn Necro-Healer) only works with with Butterfly Wing and TorchBug Thorax (Vitality-Draining Poison II); at least so far I haven't found another mix yet.

I don't necessarily Farm... persay.... but sometimes I do run around just looking for plants to pluck (after a Quest, and if I have room in my inventory), but still... it's just running around hoping to get lucky and find the ones I actually need.

But all said and done... I do appreciate the 'Helpful' input and tips. Thanx All!!!

I mean guys.. I get it .. some questions get tiring but you can just you know not post.. If people refrained from asking questions or stirring up any discussion the forum would be dead.. So like in the last topic that this OP's title is referring too. I suggested if stuff like this triggers you, that you can't make a decent response besides being hateful, just take a break. No one's forcing you to post on these forums or any forum for that matter. Go outside, or hell get on ESO and chill.
