norton is a virus itself. get it off your pc and get a real antivirus.

eso is fine.

I did a check in internet. Many Virus scan companies have detected the infection, Norton is not the only one! Something happened during the night as I played the game yesterday trough steam!

In Norton I have 5 choices! 1. Just delete and send the file to garbage 2.Restore 3.Create an exclusion and restore 4.Extract 5,Send for analysis What should I do! the safest one! I am not a troll as the threat is repertoriate in internet since July! And not just by Norton!

i dont have the option to delete files or anything but the game is messing up, launching through steam and it pulls up the page to put in user id and password instead of launch button. last time this happened to me im pretty sure i just waited it out

delete files is on the left of the choices. Just click the garbage can!

like one of the others here already mentioned : norton is trash and can be discarded
used it myself over a decade ago and switched to f-secure and never looked back

If you're running windows 11 you don't need a third party anti-virus. Uninstall Nortons and just use windows defender. If you have a virus on your machine, it didn't come from ESO and you need to run a good ant-virus such as windows defender to remove it. If you're having trouble launching the game try turning off ransomware protection.

perhaps read up on antivirus software and what a false positive is.
also consult the antivirus software user manual and read how to exclude a file in case, in your judgement, the file is okay is use/execute. then keep using your AV software.

Norton and any other anti virus crapware are scam malware that should not be anywhere near your IT gadgets.
I never ever had any 'anti virus' 'anti malware' on my gadgets/pc since the 1990s and Ive never had any virus problem.
Just needs a little bit of common sense in taking care of your pcs/phones

Stop using Norton, it is a virus.
There are no issues, launch it and you'll be fine.

step one get rid of that trash AV lol. step 2 rescan your game files via steam. if those don't work then reinstall
remove file an verify under ~ game library/the elder scrolls online/properties/installed files, verify.
