Best Sorcerer Skills?

At the moment, I've decided not to touch the electricity skills, and stick with 'dark magic' and 'daedric summoning', but is that a bad idea? It's admittedly a very different system to the previous Elder Scrolls games, in which I've never played elemental mages, so I'm not sure what's effective.

i use endless fury the most but i have really cut back on using skills. btw u can use all of them at the same time and still make great progress. i have use all of them and i got dark magic at lvl28(mayby 29lvl= cant remember) storm calling on 35lvl and summoning 29lvl and im only 26 lvl.

There are several leveling and build guides availalbe out there. I would check those out.

It would benefit you hugely to make the most out of all the available related skills. Imposing arbitrary constraints such as to stay away from certain skill lines will limit your combat effectiveness. Knowing what you have at your disposal will also help you learn the game and your class.

I run mostly on magicka dps sorc. If that is something you are interested in, then the following might give you a general idea about it.
Current meta revolves around the use of Force Pulse (Destruction staff) and Liquid Lightning (Storm Calling), for the lightning status proc for extra damage. Crystal Fragment (Dark Magic) uses on instant proc contributes to roughly 15% of total damage (assuming you prioritise stacking 100 points into Elemental Expert), and so should be used where possible. Other useful and effective skills include Inner Light (Mage's Guild) for crit chance, Power Surge (Storm Calling) for spell damage and healing on crit, Mage's Wrath (Storm Calling) for execute damage and Power Overload (Storm Calling ultimate) for boss dps.

o__o Wow, I admire you're ability to keep on top of things. I only play mages in most RPG games (spells are just too sick), so thankfully I'll have plenty of time to practice getting everything right.
