What to do with Bound Riding Skill books when maxed?

I've got a Bound Riding Skill book in my inventory. The game won't let me put it in the bank or break it down for crown gems. All of my alts have maxed out riding skills. What else can I do with the book, besides destroy it?

Because its already bound, you can't do anything else with it except destroy them.

It lets me put them in a chest. I transfer them to my alts that way. They may be bound, but they're not "character bound".

Put them in your Bank for other characters that can use them.

Bank them and use them for another character build ! I have 11 characters ! .. and still bank those i do not use

I just tried it with the bank, and it let me deposit it there too. Maybe it only works with ESO+ ?

No. ESO+ has nothing to do with it. If you can put it into your bank, than you can use it on your other alts.

Depends where you got it.

Riding skill books received as level-up rewards are character bound. If that character can't use them, you might as well delete them.

Riding skill books received as daily login rewards or from crown crates are account bound, so they can be put in the bank or storage chests/coffers and used by any character on the same account. I assume the same is true for any bought from the Crown Store.

The ones from crown crates can also be broken down into crown gems.

Thank you very much. Yeh, I've had no problem putting other riding skill books in the bank, but I got this one as a character level reward so it was bound... problem is, that character is already maxed in all riding skills. Thank you for your answer!

Did you just read the thread's title and none of the posts?

The OP said "The game won't let me put it in the bank". That means there's no way to transfer it to another character. (If the game won't let you put something in the bank, it also won't let you put it in a storage chest or coffer).

And the reason OP couldn't bank the riding lesson is because it was a level-up reward, so it was bound to the character.
