Can crowns be earned in game?

Is it possible to earn crowns in game from accomplishing certain quests or achievements? I ask cause I'm sorta new to ESO (i bought it in the summer but got back into it recently because of greymoor being cheaper/i have time now). Plus I've seen some of the prices in ESO coin wise being beyond ridiculous (EX. A tree furniture item or horse being like 10 thousand/million coins) so i wondered if people exchange crowns for coins for a ridiculous amount. I know nothing about guilds nor plan to be in one for a while (been playing solo just fine) been wanting to be a werewolf though but 1500 crowns for a bite is ehhhhhh

A few months prior to new expansion, you could exchange 150 to 300 gold per 1 crown. It may be due to the new expansion, but now it's stupid high. Low end is like 500 gold now. You don't actually get crowns, you tally up how much gold something would be, based on how many crowns it cost, and give gold to someone who gifts you crown items in exchange. I would not recommend trading with random people. If the person you are trading with is violating the TOS, you'll be sharing the ban hammer.

Outside of exchanging gold for crown gifts, you can only get crown currency by buying it or subscribing to ESO plus.

Don't pay for vampire/werewolf bites. Ask for one in zone chat. You'll eventually find someone who will give it to you for free.

The only thing you should be bothering with in crowns store is DLC. Everything else is unnecessary and stupid expensive.

Sadly it's not possible to earn crowns in game, but you can earn furniture/mounts in game. Either by Scrying or events. You can also craft furniture by learning recipes.
If you want to become a werewolf, the easiest way is to ask in the global chat for someone to bite you. Ususally there is a nice person who'll bite you for free.
You are able to exchange gold/crowns for crowns/gold , I'm not too sure about the exchange rate though.

Sadly, there is no Crown exchange system. However, you can use Gifting options to exchnage gold to crown with people willing to gift you. current prices fluctuate between 200-350g : 1c ... anything beyond that is just too high of a price

also its better to exchange with people you know or your guildmates rather than few scammers who try to take the gold and will run away by blocking you
