I think ESO is an amazing game but final shape 100% Gold road will be the same thing again as every year. Bungie is really giving their all for final shape and the conlusion of the saga. It's not even a contest. Destiny is still the best looter shooter on the market. They are doing great aswell lately with into the light and the new pantheon raid

Final Shape first, because Bungie will remove its contents before you'll be done with Gold Road.

ESO doesn't lose essential content over time, so if you get Gold Road later, you won't miss out on anything.

It's not just sunsetting, or "vaulting", or whatever it is now, they also remove seasonal content for no reason except FOMO. So when you buy a Destiny expansion, you have to play it ASAP, because for one reason or another they will remove whatever is in there. You don't get to keep what's yours.

I understand that I was paying full game price for something that doesn't exist in the game anymore, "bro". I've wasted 1500+ hours on Destiny and it still remains my most played game, and nearly all of the stuff I've loved it for is now gone. I know enough to quit it and play something else. You can still enjoy it - good for you, but make sure you do all you want in it while you still can. And stop with "but bungeh promisd", they can still change their plans. Remember actual sunsetting? When Bungie made a lot of perfectly fine weapons obsolete because people liked them too much, then went back on that decision twice and apparently announced that they'll fix that mess? Their plans don't always work, so it's best to be prepared for worst. Or are you going to say I'm lying again?
