Returning player levelling

Hey guys, I’ve not really played for a few years but kind of have the bug again and feel like downloading it. Last time I played skyreach was a good place to duo to farm CP but I found it tricky solo.

I recently found a Facebook post where a guy had a gear set that allowed him to stand in a dungeon and basically tank all the trash without even moving and they died from procs? Reflective damage or something? Hey basically left to make tea lol.

Would this be a viable way level these days? I despise running dolmens. Any tips that allow me to power level would be awesome!

Skyreach is still the most popular place I think, but as you said, it's usually done in a group of two. Alik'r dolmen runs are also still popular, they provide less experience but are easy to get into and practically risk-free even for low-level characters.

Since you don't like dolmens, but want(?) to go solo, you could use one of the farming spots in public dungeons with lots of trash mobs, like Forgotten Wastes.

Haven't heard about that, but I doubt it would be very efficient since you'd only be able to kill a few mobs and would then have to wait for them to respawn, rather than pulling lots of mobs together and then killing them quickly. Sounds more like a curiosity to me than a viable powerleveling technique, but without knowing the details it's hard to assess.

Yeah, you could do that, something like Auroran Thunder, Crimson Twilight, Overwhelming Surge, etc which completely trash on PVE but OP AF on PVP because proc set doesn't scale with weapon/spell dmg. You could build your character to be tanky and let your set do the damage.

Is it viable, yeah you could do it but tbh it didn't cross my mind to do Skyreach with proc set, it's way faster to do it with DPS build with heal and dmg shield (like brawler etc), cause I go to Skyreach to power level so I want to clear it as fast as Ican.

Duo farm on Skyreach is a better choice over solo cause you can run it over and over again.

Be aware the CP XP curve is going to change significantly in about 3 weeks. If you're not at 160 go ahead and get there if you want, but if you're grinding up beyond that you'll get much better value waiting until March.

I find rounding up the higher tier over land enemies like giants a fast way to level. A good spot is in Stormhaven around scrag's larder world boss. You can just run around and aggro the giants and nuke them. [Edit] They're "Ogres" it seems.. Not giants.. But they give a good amount of xp and you can just run in a big circle killing them off. A few hours of that will give you some good levelling.

The best XP farm are public mass add grab spots like Spellscar or Forgotten Wastes.
You can easily Lv. 1 to Lv.50 in 3 hours with the right gear & scrolls.

Being public spots means that people can interrupt the spawns and ruin the rotation, slowing you down a lot.
If you want a private and consistent route you gotta go to Skyreach and get someone to grind you there.

The method you mentioned in your question is not viable at all. That has to be one of the worst ways to grind XP in ESO I have ever heard.
