hour 1 this combat is bad let me try some thing else
hour 2 OK have tried different styles and im out of ideas let me google the meta
hour 3 after googling all hope is gone its not me its the game sad sigh
User name checks out
Combat is as well be forever the same from start to finish and forever more.
Honestly I just came back today and the combat felt even more clunkier than I remember as well as some lag spikes in open world PvE for no reason
*Please TESO, DONT change the combat to my comment - this was just a joke*
but its no brainer to ask for changes when you dont even know how to roll dodge .... or what status effect is
the thing lm pissed the most about eso combat is animation cancelling and lack of cooldowns ,and how op status effects are in pvp ...then ball grouping ... and etc
eso combat don't feel modern, it's not dynamic, effects are bad and animations too
asians MMO are often a lot better for the gameplay.
And yes you can see the gameplay of eso is bad with just some hours in it, we don't talk about the meta but the feeling.
a simple change would make the gameplay way better.
-get rid of manualy weapon swap
-make both action bar visible on hud (not hidden behind the other)
if you think that's too many keybind, wow has multiple bar and it's been fine for decades.
-when you use a skill on bar 1, you use your first weapon, and if you use a skill on bar 2, your character automaticly switch weapon to use that skill. (like barbarians, or rogues in Diablo 4)
