The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online

At my wits end.
Game says it corrupt when I launch it via Steam, it needs to repair, it cant repair itself without running in administrator mode (Which wont let you run it via steam) you have to go into the launcher manually. I cant get my access code to play without launching it via steam. Is there anyone who can help me, currently on hour 18 of trying to get into this mess

delete your game folder, restart your computer and do a fresh install.

Spent ages moving all the stuff from my C drive so I could try installing it on there to see if that works

Same thing again, Game requires a repair when you click play after it does all its updating etc. Gets stuck on 95% Saying "The Launcher does not have permission to create a folder or file in "my steam files"
Is it a steam install to begin with, or did you dl it somewhere else and are trying to port to steam?
Can you delete and reinstall from steam?

Have you tried verifying the install via steam? If not right click it in your library, property, installed files, verify.
there were some problems with antivirus programs... something... folder/ exe had to be whitelisted in it...

You cant verify the files via steam, it says the files are controlled by a third party

Could you be more specific? I could try looking into that as that sounds promising

Think you have solved it, just waiting on the access code to login but was able to use the steam play button without having to repair!
