thx for the answer and no i never heard anything like this or never would think about it
/thread
oh wait i played flyff 10 years ago that was ok but boring as far as i remember. certainly not the reverse lvl thing.
just thinking about it makes me mad i mean if you want an easy start there are so many ways how to create it. it is just a design choice and its not the worst i could imagine just one i never would have imagined at all.

except there is and it has been in the game since 1 tamriel........ https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/320096/why-does-it-feel-like-my-attributes-are-going-down-as-i-level-up
whats actually happening is that the mobs scale to your level, which means the mobs get harder as you get higher level.
Not true at all. check your max stats as a naked lvl1, then check them again as a naked lvl 50 with no attribute points or skill points assigned, you lose max health, max mag and max stam every time you level up, all the way to level 50. fact.
wrong again, mobs do not scale to your level, you are being leveled to cp160 as everything else always is. But carry on with your strawmans and false claims, no one is claiming the game is hard, the complete opposite, brand new players get huge buffs to max health, stam and magic, as they are scaled up to cp160. and they lose 2% of that buff every time they level up, again something that has been a fact since 1 tamriel about 7 years ago.
not that it matters, because stats arent a big factor in combat. skills are.
sounds like people are struggling and looking for a reason to blame the game. this is common.
skilled players have no issues with it :)
There's nothing to understand. Is an Elder Scrolls game in a mmorpg world, meaning you can do whatever you want. Just go out there and enjoy.
but nevermind all that hf in there we are out. they should at least explain those design choices to new players like us all the more if they are that strong. just for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles where would i have to go from the start to experience a real fight? and how much of the game do i skip that way? and how much would it cost me and my gf to go where the game "starts"?
its already been explained that like all mmos the challenging part starts at endgame, which takes experienced players less than a few hours to reach. i can have a new character 1-50 in about 2 hours or less.
there is plenty of challenge in endgame, but this game does a good job of filtering people, so only the skilled or dedicated players make it anyways, which is for the best.
