Will They Ever Just Sell The Crafting Bag?
I ditched the game because bombarded with inventory, much of it crafting and without the Crafting Bag to store all the junk it was just too much inventory management.

I wanted to craft as most everyone in this kind of game does. But I only play occasionally maybe 3-6 months off then a few weeks on, so a monthly account was just not worth it just for a crafting bag.

IMO should be able to just buy one.
So have they ever sold it separately? Will they ever? Or is the Crafting Bag/Inventory bombardment always going to be the catch of this game?

Same thing in swtor if they got rid of the credit cap and had no credit cap at all for f1p you know how many people would drop their subs

i have played without eso plus since i started and i craft a lot, its just how you manage your inventory, if you cant, then you will be always on trouble in any game that has a big pool of materials/gear/etc

Nooo don't pretend that it's the same as other games.
ESO multiplied the crafting mats drops by about 100x just to make it so crappy an experience to sort it all that one *must* buy ESO plus or have an inventory nightmare to deal with every few hours of gameplay.

ESO monetized the inventory management nightmare that they created. Don't pretend it's the same in other games that didn't build their monetization around *removing* all that crap for you out of your inventory.

I'm not saying the developers don't have a right to make their money. But they should *sell* a Crafting Bag for 20 Euro USD or so and not rent it to you for 15 bucks or whatever a month of ESO plus. It is a bit greedy to twist your arm so much for such a basic item. And to require a subscription just makes this game fell like a health club. Just get you on the monthly auto payments then hope you forget to cancel it. It's cheezy and greedy.

That kind of tells you that the sub is a gimmick. I mean if they created enough content to pay for they wouldn't have to be so cheezy as to sell you inventory space.

This guy is trying *so hard* to talk around the necessity of the ESO plus for crafting bag it's mind boggling:

I played a few years back without ESO plus because they advertised 'no subscription required' and boy was it NOT fun to manage inventory. I wanted to craft and not just sell all mats and it was a nightmare.

lol the crafting bag is not necessary.

you have 200+ slots on your characters. 200+ slots in the bank. thousands of slots in your house.

the only people who have inventory issues are people who stop to pick up every banana, funny shaped rock, bones, feathers, broken horseshoes etc.

just stop picking up everything you see. thats not how you get rich in this game.

And yet the game is so tedious without it that everyone would drop their ESO+ subscription if they sold the Crafting Bag separately.

youre welcome to call it tedious if you want, but again, as an endgame player with more experience in the subject, there is literally nothing to it and not time invested. i literally never need to think about mats. my crafting bag has thousands and I have never spent a dime on eso+

Well I sure remember it being tedious. And I had a dedicated crafter. I remember having crafting items in inventory, in the bank, and sometimes I had to run back and forth from the crafting station to the bank to get stuff for crafting because it wasn't accessible to craft from there you had to have it on you.

And the thing that fixed it all was the bottomless crafting bag.

my brother in akatosh, i have offered to show you with your own two eyes on stream real quick how to simplify it so that it becomes a nonfactor in gameplay, in less time than it took to type that.

OK well upload a video to youtube then. I'd love to see it :)
I'll check back a little later its time for dinner. Take your time.
If you can show me how to make crafting not an inventory management nightmare without ESO+ that would be great!

Oh geez save it.

I've played the game and I know what an inventory crunch is.
This game is monetized off of inventory and the worst crunch is the crafting bag.
You don't have a crafting bag without ESO+.
And if you don't want to just sell all your mats from your main its a lot of extra work to manage it all without ESO+.

They probably will never sell it separately as Berserkr said so for me the game is not worth the trouble of not having the QOL of such basic necessities.
