Can you still do Daggerfall Covenant missions with Ebonhart Pact?

When creating my character I didn't realize that your race was tied to your alliance. I made a night elf and was several levels in before I realized what happened. The Daggerfall Covenant just sounds like it would be more my play style. I would guess not since they are a different alliance but I don't really feel like making a new character.

yes, you just need to finish the Main quest (not the Ebonhart Pact zone story).

Are we talking PVP or PVE?
PVP: nope, you need to change your alliance
PVE: Just Travel to the starter Island in Daggerfall and start there again. but the main quest will still follow Ebonheart.

You can do any quest for any alliance at anytime. Been that way since like late 2016 as it allowed players to play with their friends in other alliances.
