The Elder Scrolls Online

Update issues
Anyone else slammed with constant issues since the update?
Tried repairing the launcher, not working. Uninstalled and downloaded again. And now Minion isn't working! Was so excited to play the new patch but nearly 2 days later and still running into issue after issue.

Update: Error 210 and 102; repair isn't working and have reinstalled it. Minion is working after a full reset of modem.

Yes there is a ton of bugs / crashes etc with the recent update zos have acknowledged them and are running maintenance to hopefully fix most of these big time bugs and crashes.

There is information on the official forums about the bugs and their efforts to repair them.

According to zos this is what they say to do :

If your ESO Launcher continues to get stuck on downloading, you should ensure that Automatic configuration Script and Proxy Server are disabled in your Internet options. These settings can be found by following the steps below:
Open your Control Panel.
Select Internet Options.
Click Connections on the top panel.
Select LAN Settings.
Ensure that Automatic configuration Script and Proxy Server are disabled (unchecked).
Once the settings are applied, restart the ESO Launcher.

Deleting the Program Data folder may help with your download issue as well.
Close the ESO Launcher.
Navigate to the patch installation folder,
By default, this folder will be located here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher\ProgramData.
Locate and delete the ProgramData folder.
Restart the ESO Launcher.

I tried both troubleshoot methods advised above, unfortunately my launcher is still stuck at loading. I also returned to ESO last month, Got ESO plus and barely managed to play the game since the 21st last month when they patched it. The launcher was stuck on loading a few days. I had the ZOS team trying to help me with this and nothing worked but only time of the dev team actually sorting it on their end. Then again had the same issue a week ago, the launcher eventually let me repair it, that was at least an hour or two after the patch issue but now the launcher is stuck on loading with no possibility to repair with error 210 since yesterday's 6PM (UK time) the game disconnected mid play and launcher was down.

My only issues with the new update is that the game seems to load a lot more in busy zones such as stormhaven and high isle so my game slows down a lot more often now to load my surroundings.
Also, there are Halloween decorations in alikr on the staircase near the crafting writ turn ins.

Honestly I’m not sure there are so many bugs with this update it’s not even funny it makes Skyrim on the ps3 seem like a stable port of a game compared to this update.

Same issue, launcher says it needs to repair and takes up 100% of my harddive so I can't do anything on my computer without everything crashing. It freezes up at around 17% repair. I haven't been able to launch the game for a few days, rip all the daily login bonuses I missed out on now.

Mine is still stuck on loading, not even a repair option. 4 days to go until my Plus sub expires as I cancelled it.. I think I'm giving up lol no game should have this frustrating experience and constant need for technical support
Frana25 Mar 13, 2024 @ 1:13pm
Yes i'm also not getting a repair option
