GW2: 4,185 players 24 hour peak
ESO: 18,471 players 24 hour peak
Try to stick with facts and not come up with fantasy land tales of how GW2 is the best game ever (I get that honeymoon phase is a thing but it's getting a bit stale now, find another method to deliver your message) when in fact, it can't even get more players to play it than SWTOR. Reality hits hard once again.
Look up what "fact" means before speaking it. You'll have to go back and edit out every single "fact" once you realize it's meaning and you've been using it incorrectly for years.
GW2 charges $5 per bag slot with no in game option. $35 to max out inventory space per character. Or you can grind about 15 gold per hour and in about 5-6 hours of non stop grinding, you will be able to purchase that $5 upgrade with in game gold. Now isn't that a great deal?
I'm sorry that happened to you. Now it makes sense why you can't handle ESO having 500% more players than your GW2 and is a few levels above.
How sad is that you have to play another game to compensate for GW2 having zero endgame, dead development and ugly graphics.
"I play FFXIV on the side" isn't a good argument to make to advocate for how great GW2 is. It's literally proving otherwise. It's gonna sting very badly in retrospect once you realize that.
GW2 is a dead game, everybody knows it. It makes sense people play other mmos since GW2 has been having a really rough couple of years since the pandemic, specificaly the quality of content has become even worse than games like New World.
Except ESO appearantly, since it easily slays GW2 in every single aspect and that is a no-no ;)
Big three is way out of your reach. Try figuring how to outmanouver SWTOR or Maplestory first since both are more popular than GW2 before setting your sights on a giant like ESO. Otherwise, you'll be destined to have to play other mmos to fill the hole, GW2 is full of them.
Sorry but ESO is not one of them no matter how hard you want it to be so.
Maybe that fact has made some like a broken record repeating same fantasy? It is quite sad. :)
What's a "crown troll"? Is it something connected to ESO crown store? Cousin of Pacrooti who senses a lucky aura? And all you need is more crowns to buy more crates? So you get 4 x Crown Poison item instead of anything good?
Please do elaborate, i am confused. Rude to call someone that, i have not used Crown Store now in many months after i quit ESO. Until they fix it and have different combat team that makes better decision and makes the game great again (i liked it during Summerset Chapter release, those were peak times, before and after.. then it went downhill), now it's just shade of it's former self.. it's quite sad to see. The misery on players when the lag is so bad, constant crashes and bugs, many cannot even get game started from launcher anymore.
Most developers of ESO moved to their next game clearly, they do not bother to fix broken things. :/ I feel bad for players there who are left without care. They only care about getting their money, but not giving good quality back. As paying customer should always get decently working product in all game modes if those are advertised to be there since start.. ESO has many players from Elder Scrolls IP single player games, that is keeping it's new player amounts decent, they try it, play for a while, buy expensive mounts and houses and then quit at endgame when sees and feels the problems for a while.
It's heartbreaking sad to me.
ESO always had big potential, if only it was managed better by the developers. :(
I just woke up and drinking "morning" coffee, so no harm done, i like to then write replies on forums that i get pinged of by someone typing on my post or see something interesting.
So no harm done, hope you have fun gaming day no matter what game you play! :)
thread looks like trolling
it's fine to have new things, great, but i don't like the style or look, nor the op nature of it
the silly book that opens and a beam shoots out that everyone spams all the time, yawn
it's just not fun
Oh and PvP is in the mire as it has literally been abandoned for 5 years now after they dumped the calculations on the server and added 5-6x the latency, which they have only "fixed" by lowering the pop caps down to 60 per faction from 300 per faction....
