ESO is dying? Even New World and BDO have more players? :(

Steam charts are not looking that good, when both BDO and New World (that is a dead game by definition) are beating ESO in Steam charts.

Game inside is empty, few diehards still login to do their crafting writs and then logout to play something else. You have all seen this. Many of the last players play because their friends still play the game, but many have have moved on to other games, with better monetization models etc. Sad times.

I uninstalled myself. It was too empty to play or try to do content. Who wants to play or pay for ESO+ just to do some dolmens? When not enough endgame groups doing Veteran/HM stuff.

And Cyrodiil is dead, and the couple hours it is not, it's lagging and rubberbanding with 5 seconds skill delays. Or your character just drops dead even you keep pumping heal button.. :/ Promises of fixes for years have never been kept sadly.

Even most content creators are moving on to other games, yikes! Albion Online and Runescape have more active community. O_o

What happened to this game? The big three are out of reach, and ESO is on life support. :(

This is proven untrue. It was only true in the first year of ESO being released on Steam, but it's been MANY years since then, and Steam counts have pretty much become even with standalone.

If the numbers are healthy on Steam then they're also healthy in standalone.

Except ESO is on PS4 and Xbox so 1/2 the playerbase doesn't even play on PC.

I am what i have said i am, and i play the game i said i play. I have posted nothing but facts, as i always do. And all reliable source.

I have put some on ignore list, so only see their childish behavior messages when in quoted by someone else. I don't usually even then read them though. Sometimes better spend even that 30 seconds of time to something better and constructive. ^^

But they have repeated that some "300lbs mom basement" thing so many times (in that other account also) that it starts to be like harassment already, on top of being actual lie and it sounds like they are talking about themselves or something, because too many details? I weight only 43kg (no idea what that is on lbs), but i can tell you i am small, i am also under 160cm so short too. And i go to the gym 3x every week. So they can go talk about weight issues to someone else, my biggest issue about weight is that sometimes it's hard to gain it when needs, not losing it. But whatever, this is Steam forums about games and not Lelu Forums about my weight or where i live (alone in a 3 rooms apartment + tiny balcony), not big house, but also not moms basement lmao). So would be nice if they stopped talking about me personally and stick with games, thanks.

I have been nothing but polite. But sometimes some people underestimate Lelu. Have before too, but when reality hits (and it does), it always ends in silence. :)

I'll tell you a story, once upon a time there were couple people, kept harassing a streamer girl, who likes to wear cat ears. was not inside game in ESO, but outside, in another platform. So they thought they were "safe" from any consequences. But never underestimate a cat ear wearing person.. :D Not took long and the harassing people lost their ESO in game accounts, permanently. True story.

It stops being funny to call names when many years worth of stuff goes "poof" just like that in game. :) Some people always underestimate what connections a streamer who has been playing the game for years. Can post chat logs with Developers. And changing account to fake account in Steam and then using exact same messages than in their original account is not very smart, i'd know exactly what original account to report for harassment. I am what i am, and say i am. And if they tell lies, there will be legal consequences. Let's see if it's still funny then and who lives in basement after that? :) I am sure they can provide address/mail instantly, for possible legal action.

@Quartermaster, that was a nice post from you. And i agree with many things in it. Games should be enjoyed as is, and i let those enjoy who want and am nothing but polite to everyone here also. Some are not towards me though. But everyday i try to smile through even the bad things, it's important to carry on. :) And yes, good games can be therapeutic for many.

Sometimes still, i think it is very important being able to give critical feedback, even negative, if sometimes feels your favorite games are turning into something they were not, or going bad quality.. and all you want is that old game you liked back. It's not unreasonable. But some defend even bad relationships, and would not allow any kind of feedback.. and not understand the game is a product, that can be improved, but we are the people, players, who should be polite to each others even if disagree about in game facts. Animation skipping AKA "Weaving" is killing the game and new players don't want to get into the game because of it. Fix it.

its been fixed, play an Arcanist, use velothi amulet, do 100k dps no problem pressing maybe 7 keys total, sometimes even less. its a 1.5 bar build. or you can use Oakensoul.

WRONG. to this day most do not play it on pc via steam. as steam still has log in issues with eso with the steam back end. majority of pc players are not on steam playing it. steam charts do not account for them, or console players. eso is estimated to have 223k avg daily players this month.

For some maybe it's like that, some do not enjoy how it is.

Personally i always liked how animation canceling was.

For me and my friends the issues that are killing the game are: Performance issues (lag & bugs, combat team decisions in many other things (poor balancing, itemization etc) and poor content. All when there would be great potential, so it's just about managing the game poorly, since everything is something fixable - if will, budget, effort and skill (right people and motivation to do so) were put to it.

But their developer time and effort sadly going to some other game clearly already for last years now.

Just sayin look at Cdkays or g2a for keys you can get every expansion the game has previously launched for the last 10 Years!!!! with ONLY a 18$ upgrade ... no need to break the bank as a new player & be hurting all month just to play this game, that much cant be said for allot of games nowadays.
