i had nothing but bad performance playing eso on the steam deck.
when they bring out the new launcher which is supposed to happen so im wondering if it will break it from working at all on the deck. time will tell. dont depends on the deck tho get a pc the deck is not stable.
PROTON_SET_GAME_DRIVE=1 %command%
Also, this is the main site for the games that can run on Steam Deck or not with how to get them to work if possible. Usually a code like the one I just put here. https://www.protondb.com/
If he has it installed he likely already used that command as it’s basically Required to set up. The game has issues on the deck no amount of tinkering will change that.
Again be aware the launcher is changing and it may affect how eso plays on the deck. From what I hear it may pose a problem.
Accurate, but first days of playing I didint know the launcher affects the framerate. It was active and the problem with kicking was present already. On the protondb people recommend to shut it down after game starts.
The problem is the change to the launcher may make it so we can’t even launch the game. I’m not saying it’s going to happen but something to keep in mind.
