Paying for maintenance
You guys really do pay monthly subscription for being unable to login to the game and for long hours of maintenance happening every couple of days?

this is currently happening because they are doing a pvp server pop test. they are prob getting ready for that. usually it hardly goes down except for bug fixes. i play at least total in a week around 20-25 hours. the maintenance has not hindered that experience.

I have started recently and since I bought Necrom I have experienced some ridiculous maintenance times. Well, maybe it is as you say and I will change my opinion later, time will tell.

The maintenance has always been pretty ridiculous, but in the context of hours per month lost, and therefore £/month lost, is trivial. I don’t sub unless I am playing a lot, but when I am subbed I just roll with it. But yes, if you had a SaaS provider with this low service quality, they’d have gone under by now, but gamers are happy to be treated badly as long as they get their fix!

Paying monthly what to play this? Hope they accept dust as that's only currency that should be accepted for paying monthly to play this game.

Holy crap... whine whine whine... missing half a day here, half a day there... geez... so a total of 1 freakin day a month "in hours" you miss playing ESO with maintenance, give me a freakin break!!! Damn you freakin babies are insane... cry cry cry... can't handle a little maintenance, boo freakin hoo!!!

I pay ESO+ and I don't play often, and there has been many times where I finally feel like playing and it's maintenance... so what... then I play another game or find something else to do, until the maintenance is finish... damn...

Half the week I work days, other half I work nights... I don't have any specific time I play... it could be any damn time too... and sometimes there's maintenance... SO FREAKIN WHAT!! I find something else to do until it's finished... dammit!

Suck it up and deal with it, like the rest of us.

The problem is that they make it so the players from US sleep on time of maintenance but we from Europe have to suffer....

I paid 9 euro when I bought it. Why should I keep paying???

There were long maintenance and short maintenance . Long like this one were rare, mayby 4 per year. However, this is 3th from Necrom come out. So ZOS is doing something wrong.

I hope it won't be usual.
Short maintenance were frequent and they are necessary evil.

IME, ZOS usually bodge their larger updates and require frequent, 'maintenance to fix the maintenance', and even, 'maintenance to fix the maintenance to fix the maintenance, maintenance'.

So many cry babies all I see is complaints day in and day out. The entitlement is mind blowing.

Yes, I'm also paying when I'm sleeping, working, taking a ♥♥♥♥ or whatever. What you don't seem to understand is that if they froze the timer during your offline time, the price would be much higher.

13 bucks a month is 1,8 cent an hour, that's just not enough to be a sustainable business model if you paid just the time you're playing.

"I paid for ESO+ so they're robbing me of my money." -summary
I'll call bs on that.
Only if you were playing the game for 24 hours a day, every day, all month, then maybe...
