Good Beginner Class?
Hi guys. I have played ESO for a few years now, but never have finished main storyline, or any of the Expansions/DLC story content either. Am wondering if there is a recommend class for beginners, or those that have yet to finish story? I started an Arcanist today, and have played some of the other classes as well. Only Class that I have not played yet is Necromancer. What do you guys think and/or recommend? Help appreciated :)

I'd say Stamina Templar. It's bursty and have plenty of heals and defensives. But overall, any class will do as long as you have a shield/heal skill and pick offensive skills that scales with your main atribute.
magicka arcanist

Thanks for the info guys. What are the main Atributes for DragonKnight and Necromancer?

Did you notice everyone picked something different.

Pick something, play it a while.
Choose something else.
Keep going until you find something you like.

Just to muddy the waters...

So I started this game a few weeks ago after beta testing a decade ago, lol.

Magica Sorcerer. Very powerful, lots of utility, can be easy like one bar easy, or a bit more complicated as you desire. Having a lot of fun with it.

Magicka or stamina templar. Great for solo play and group play. You have tons of heals, self heals, good dps and it's very easy to play :)

Magicka Templar.

Why? Because the very first skill you unlock not only heals you while attacking everything in front of you, it will also be the main attack you'll be using forever.

There's a reason why solo spec MagPlars are pretty much immortal when doing PvE content. They have so much automatic self healing coming in that it's pretty much impossible to die.

What Skill is that?

Puncturing Sweep.
Yes it's morphed from Puncturing Strike but by the time you get that morph you're still very low level. Just the right time for when it becomes useful.

Poeple here gave a terrible advice. Magicka templar is the ultimate begginer class by all standarts. You can use only 1 skill for whole game if you want. It deals damage, AoE damage and it also heal you.

But you dont need a begginer class. Just pick what you like because this game is sooooooo easy (overland). When it gets hard, you wont be talking about "begginer class" so just pick what you like.

For overland content (main/alliance/zone stories, delves, etc.), any class is fine. You can seriously get through most or all of it with spammable abilities (they all have one) and light attacking. Since you've played with all the classes except the Necro, I'd suggest (not recommend) making a Necromancer. But you probably have a good idea of how the other classes behave and (contrary to a lot of other answers here), the best class is the one which you enjoy playing more than they others. If you're not enjoying it, what's the point?

Poison/Archery Stam Dragonknight is how I roll. You like green fire? We got that. You like being tanky? We got that too. You like solo pvp? Oh yeah we got that. You're the kind of hybrid that pisses off mains for being that good. Just don't expect to be meta.

That's how I did it also. My characters are so oldschool they have granfathered short names you can't even retake if I deleted them now.
