Pick something, play it a while.

So I started this game a few weeks ago after beta testing a decade ago, lol.
Magica Sorcerer. Very powerful, lots of utility, can be easy like one bar easy, or a bit more complicated as you desire. Having a lot of fun with it.
Why? Because the very first skill you unlock not only heals you while attacking everything in front of you, it will also be the main attack you'll be using forever.
There's a reason why solo spec MagPlars are pretty much immortal when doing PvE content. They have so much automatic self healing coming in that it's pretty much impossible to die.
Puncturing Sweep.
Yes it's morphed from Puncturing Strike but by the time you get that morph you're still very low level. Just the right time for when it becomes useful.
But you dont need a begginer class. Just pick what you like because this game is sooooooo easy (overland). When it gets hard, you wont be talking about "begginer class" so just pick what you like.
That's how I did it also. My characters are so oldschool they have granfathered short names you can't even retake if I deleted them now.
