ESO crashes every time after 1 - 2 min - no chance to switch graphics

Hi all,

I just recently started playing again - for about 2 weeks.

I`m playing with a 2020 M1 Macbook pro.

At first ESO did not even start from the launcher, which I could solve with the display "hack" (resolution > 1900 x 1200 ) ...
Apart from a few aborts and server crashes I had no problems.

Since two days, however, it has changed. ESO crashed and:

1. always starts like the first time - incl. the privacy policy etc., intro up to the selection of the country.
2. but the character selection is available
3. it can even be logged in with a char, but after about 1 - 2 minutes it crashes without an error message

I have already:
- Restarted Mac
- reinstalled the game (1 day download time)
- started with and without Steam

My suspicion: I had adjusted the graphics - now it's at maximum every time I log in, when I change it the game crashes....

..I don't know what to do...

Did you set it if the temperature is too high? Try selecting turbo mode or similar on your fans.

thanks for your answer - could you please be more detailed? The mac wasn`t at high temperature at all and i`ve tried it multiple times.

Even after the NECROM update - i still cant stay in game for than 2 - 3 minutes...
