Is there a way to remove the quest markers for DLC/expansion quests?
I have an addon that shows all quest markers which is great and all, but its a bit overwhelming in the starter cities where there is quest markers everywhere and i have no way of knowing which marker is DLC/expansion and which is from the base game lol is there a way of applying a filter for them? i'm trying to go through all the quests in order of release but its super hard to know which is base game and which is DLC.

Many thanks,

You can manually hide individual quests like DLC starters from appearing on the map itself by clicking on them, but they will still appear on the compass and above the quest giver. I dont think its possible to disable them completely at the moment.

DLC starter quests usually have the same icon that is used for the the main base quests so there pretty easy to spot. What you could do is accept the quests say for Wrothgar, Elswyer, Morrowind etc and then just dont do them. It would stop them appearing in every city.

if its destinations or one of those, check your map-filters. theres a whole list of quests and things to enable/disable.

tho.. you usually dont have any DLC quests in normal zones, because all dlc is tied to their specific zones.
the only exception would be the 4 or 5 prologue quests

you have to go to one of the mainland starting zones (auridon, glenumbra, stonefalls) for the "hooded figure" mainquest, from there it will guide you trough the basegame zones pretty much.

Yeah im going through the base quest, its just really off putting to me that im currently in daggerfall but i have no way of knowing is a quest if a side quests, main quest or dlc start quest XD i was hoping there might be a way of filtering them out so i only see the main and side quests on the map

There is an add-on called Quest Map which has a sub filter to only show main quests (Cadwell's Almanac) and quests that give skill points. It disables all side quests so may not be what your looking for, but it is an option.

Yeah ive got quest map, its good for seeing the quests but not for telling you which is a DLC Quest XD i think what im after isnt possible by the looks of it. i saw a couple of posts on the forums from a couple of years ago where someone asked if it was possible and the short answer is no by the looks. such a shame as you can simply tick/untick the quests you want to see on the map in the console version by simply going into the collection screen.

Yeah that's what the general consensus seems to be from the posts i've been reading. its a real shame. i think i'll get the console version, i can take the performance hit if it means i'm able to pick and choose which quests im doing rather than having to google an NPC's name to find out if they're part of a dlc quest. thanks all
