Tired of waiting 10minutes for a mob to respawn
Yeah it's nice having the possibility to kill the same monsters and bosses as other player but that's annoying coming to a monster to see him getting killed by other player and waiting 10minutes to kill him to finish a quest

Generally if you have a quest for them, they respawn quicker. Still a few minutes but not 10 minutes?

getting hits in will generally complete whatever kill mission you have so there is that.

In some dungeons yes. Worldbosses not.

This sort of.

Some stuff respawns almost instantly. It's usually a very brief time delay. However, not everything is like this. It never really bothered me to a great enough extent to determine what the common denominator is.

Most stuff has a fixed respawn time. This includes general world npcs, dungeon npcs/bosses and world bosses. Major quest npcs usually spawn almost instantly. Side quest npcs - not so much. They are probably on same or similar timer as everything else.

If you only get one hit on him you get credit for the kill. So my advice is, unless you turn up just as the other player delivers the final stroke, to get in there as fast as possible.

This is the most "First World Problems" topic I have ever seen.
10 minutes....you're really gonna complain about 10 minutes?

Would you rather it was still the way it used to be in mmo's? Where you could wait a couple days or more for something to respawn? How 'bout you count your blessing that MMO's have been dumbed waaaaaaay down in order to appease the "I want it now" crowd already.

Well yeah, world bosses drop gear, give an achievement usually, are part of map completion, and are typically the most powerful things in a zone. They aren’t going to respawn infinitely, because if they did you’d just have people lined up 24/7 and farming them for hours on end. Depending on the world boss they can drop pretty important pieces of gear for end game builds. I remember when Spinners gear was one of the most important sets for a magsorc in PvP and getting an infused max magicka piece even to purple could net you 50,000g minimum, and the best way to get them was farming world bosses.

What zone are you talking about? Summerset or vardenfell?
Base game world bosses don't have any quest associated with them.
