oh yeah btw u can solo normal dungs like nothing
Everyone in that system just wants to charge through and not wait for you to read and listen to everything. Their time is just as valuable as yours.
Want to take your time and do dungeon and trial quests at a proper pace? Where you even have time to read Lore books and random fluff? Check the Guild Finder for guilds that promote that style of gameplay.
If you're on EU I highly recommend a guild called "Story Mode." Their default is to run dungeons and trials as a guild so everyone can take their time and enjoy the game at a pace that allows it.
Other similar guilds are available too.
Actually no because the OP is playing the game how the developers intended. Otherwise they(developers) should design for all story content OUTSIDE of the dungeons.
Intended and how it actually works are a lot different -mainly when the game is like .... ~9 years old ?
Cyrodil was intended to be great MMO slayer between player factions ....To take castles by force -it was like what ... 500 players per faction ?
Reality is -that Bananas are basically offline raiding at 3AM when no1 plays
and even crueler reality is that PVP players were waiting for server update for like 4 years and got pop cap reduce instead to idk l think its below 100 now
If you are willing to sacrifice the very lucrative XP you get from the daily reward from using it, then I recommend doing dungeons solo or maybe with a friend as you discover them.
There are many ways the game could improve for new player experience for sure though.
OP -as there were mentions above - if you dislike ppl farming and rushing to main boss ,then l advise as others did - find a group matching your pace or play solo
You can solo most of the stuff in eso including trials(without dps check l think)
(except veteran stuff )
Good luck with your game ,lm out cause this discussion will be swarmed with private accounts full of ppl under 50 hours dictating how the game should be played
Speedruns is not one of them. You just have to find a group that wants to do the quests inside. This stuff happens in all MMO's.
The solution is, find like-minded players that play for the story, not the loot (e.g. players like me).
I came back in around 2020 just to see if anything was different and it was. Night and day.
Far more quality of life systems were added and I found a guild that was based on promoting "Story" over everything.
Suddenly I was able to run every dungeon slowly, talking time to read all the lorebooks and soak in the quests. It was truly reinvigorating.
I have around 2.5k hours in the game now, all on one character.
For that I'll thank my Guildmates. I literally wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you guys.
