I don't understand trade guild stuff at all, I think im sitting on around 100~k gold of stuff if ttc recommended selling prices is anything to go by but nothing about this system makes any sense to me.

Exactly ! It would be so much better to have an auction house in the style of World of Warcraft. For crazy people about trade, market and economy, well there could have a mobile App so they can be on it 24/24.

Forcing people to join a guild to be able to sell items is plain stupid, imho. I just do PvP and I need no guild for that. I sit with millions of gold in bank : yellow style pages, hundreds of set items that could sell for 100k or more (robes of transmutation, deadly strike, ...) ... all things I got from PvPing and I am not planning to sell on public chat, nor join a guild just to sell my stuff.

My style of playing, but honestly, I prefer dedicated my time and gold on making me poisons and potions and be able to run my PvP cessions, than having to deal with people who have high strategy on how to buy items cheap thanks to ESO Trade Center and various addons, to sell them at a higher price with high profit. Man, this is a game, no real life. rofl

Last point, yeah I know I can join a PvP guild or just a social guild and sell items through their vendors. Howerver, I have decided to stay unguilded as it requires some kind of commitment and daily duties. I have no time for that anymore, although I was main tank in raids on some "other MMORPGs" ;-)

Take care o/

I just want gold so I can have a larger invintory and bank, beyond that im not sure I will ever engage with it again.
I don't like being in Trader Guilds because it costs a lot to put something for sale already, especially if it's something that can be sold at a high price, and on top of that, when it sells, the Guild takes a huge cut of it. I might of sold it for lets say 1 million, but it cost 10% of what I want to sell it for, to put it for sale... so it would cost me 100k to post it... JUST... post it for sale, then when it's sold, I get 900k, because the Guild took it's 10% off as well.

It's this that made me not want to be in any Trader Guilds. However, I've found a few players that buy direct, cut out the middle man, and buy at very reasonable prices. Maybe slightly lower than TTC prices, but not by much... I mean they do gotta resell and make their Gold... point is, they buy, no fees, and prices are still decent and reasonable. That is how I make my Gold now in ESO and it's been a whole lot better for it. Just gotta keep your eyes open for players buying directly in Zone Chat... AND... do a bit of research as well, because not all of them give decent prices... make sure you're not getting severely ripped off. There's gotta be a balance, ya know?
Access your guild's trader ("Guild store") at the Bank or by going to the trader's in-world location. In the guild store, there are three icons at the top-right: buy, sell, and listings. "Buy" lets you browse what's currently listed with that trader, "Sell" lets you create a new listing, and "Listings" shows you what you currently have listed (you can have up to 30 active listings per trader).

Since you want to sell, click the "Sell" icon. This will open up your inventory and show what you have that can be listed. Character-bound and account-bound stuff cannot be listed. If your guild trader is in a well-traffic'd location, then you can use TTC's suggested price or close to it and be good. If your trader is in an out-of-the-way location, then you might want to go somewhat below suggested price to entice someone to hoof it out there. You'll need to pay the listing fee at the time you list, but the house cut comes out when the item sells. If it doesn't sell within 30 days, it will be returned to you via in-game mail. You can cancel any listing whenever you want but you won't get the listing fee back. Beyond that (and it generally being seen as bad form to undercut guildies trying to sell the same thing), you just wait for someone to buy.

Trading is mostly trying to figure out what other players are wanting to buy and then offering it to them at a price they're willing to pay. Pay attention to how many listings there are for the item you want to sell. Few listings usually means it's either very rare or unlikely to be a fast mover unless you give it an attractive price.

Gear can be a problematic trade item since most players aren't going to be interested in it unless it's a pain-in-the-rear to farm, it has a trait they want, it's a set piece they want/need, or something like that. Most stuff under CP160 isn't going to move very well, so it's generally only good for trait research or deconstructing for materials. "Intricate" items are an exception since they give bonus crafting inspiration and materials when deconstructed (good for power-leveling crafting skills). "Ornate" items are mostly only good for selling to NPC vendors.
I have been playing this game for a few years now ! and i also find the guild trading system a pain in the backside ! I have used it to buy a few bits and pieces that simply would not drop , but I HAVE NEVER SOLD A SINGLE ITEM ! ... I suspect the point of the guilds is purely to try and force you into playing nicely with the other childrens ! ... Same apples to the mechanics stopping you from soloing so many dungeons ! ./..
I sell lots of items in the guild stores. I just check the prices (e.g. via Tamriel Trade Centre), then set my price to be a bit below the minimum. The items sell quickly, and I still get a reasonable amount of gold from the sale. No doubt the buyers are also happy they got a good deal. So everyone wins.

TTC is showing ´´LISTED´´ prices -not actually sold ,some ppl are trying to price fix sometimes

If you are gonna sell something in bulk ... check your guilds current sales of that -so you wont sell over/underpriced
