Is there a reason to keep them? Or should i just throw them away?

No use whatsoever ! Having said that it would be a great achievment to finish the game without ever using any set but the starter set ?? I doubt it could be done ? hmmm

They're purely cosmetic. They occupy three armor slots, but provide no armor or enchantment bonus. This makes them decent if you want to nerf yourself, but their only other advantage is that they look somewhat better than the default underwear.
