How is the new expansion Necrom?

lot of negativity in this thread but the expansion on steam has 90% positive reviews which is much higher than greymoor, blackwood, and high isle had at release

Im really enjoying Necrom, great stories so far.

Tested it on pts and found it really boring. Daily 'world event' content that's pretty much a cut dungeon, a main quest that treats the player character like a moron, the zone seems really small with most of the effort going into Apocrypha (but reusing loads of assets from Summerset - lots of reused rocks and coral from the beaches) and I found the companions super 'meh'. So many bugs and problems that were pointed out during testing that have just been ignored and the arcanist effects gave me motion sickness.

Lol, just had to get that off my chest. It's been disappointing.

Sounds exactly like the last 4 years to me, boggles my mind that people still think the game hasnt been put in "maintenance mode" while the team have been working on their upcoming new MMO.

I like it and the way it looks. Its nothing ground breaking but its a nice new setting. The arcanist is fun to play as but they could tone down some of the glowing green effects for sure.

Honetly was suprised. I LOVE necrom. Was much better compared to Greymoor, Blackwood, and High Isle. The dialogue isnt cringy or weird. They make call backs to Summerset and even base game. There is a new class which we havn't gotten for a while. The zone is great and the new group content is really fun. The main questline was actually really good and wasn't predictable.
