Doubtful considering ZOS are also deleting all threads about it from their official forums. Either it was only supposed to be a play for free for 1 week like they often have on steam, or zos arent happy this was announced a week early and was losing them sales.
or just block them..... lol
There is no trial mode for ESO that I'm aware of.
They do however have free ESO+ weekends, so people can test out how useful it is.
The absolute best thing they can do is offer the base game for free on Epic and then immediately give a free week of ESO+ to everyone. A double whammy.
Like I said before, regardless of whether you intend to play it or not - still register it to your account.
Who knows if you'll be looking for something to play in the future.
The game is still on Epic's store as free from July 20 - July 27, nothing has changed from what I can see. For those looking to get it there, it looks like it's just the base game.
Rational person detected! Being fanatical of one corporation over another is so bizarre.
I only like GOG because when I buy a game, its mine forever, plus doesn't require a launcher to run in the background to verify every....single...time.
