Took a break for a year and come back to a perma ban, and social ban. (Rant)
(Just Ranting)
I have about 900+ hrs in ESO, and every now and then I get burnt out or I have to work.. a lot.. Well this last year I was just too busy to even think about ESO. Work, and college courses will do that. I reinstalled my game today, Jan 26, 2023 (through steam of course), and wouldn't you know it I was perma banned from ESO. I checked my eso account on their website and I was suspended from there as well.

I was given 0 warnings through email or anything else at all. So ZoS if you are reading this, at least a little clarification as to why I was banned would be nice. Did my bank not have enough cash to fill your pockets when my recurring bill was due? Did taking a long break take up too much space or something? You can't just leave someone hanging without some sort of rhyme or reason.

I put in 2 tickets, the second ticket after realizing I still had to make an account, and I forgot the verification number for the first one. I'm equal parts confused, and irritated.

Has anyone else here experienced random bans like this with no warning? This is a first for me tbh.

All you can do is submit a ticket and wait for their "stellar," "5-star" support...

Feels like that all I can do sadly. We'll see how long this stellar 5* support takes to help rectify this. 😩

I have no notices of banning in my email, I even filtered out my inbox to narrow my search since I've been away for a year. Still nothing. Soo as far as I can tell they do get permabanned without notice.

Zenimax customer service is the absolute worst, only second to their moderation team.

They not read or see steam forums, if you want to try something, try their own site and make a ticket explaining your prolblem, there is no fix in steam forums for you in this case, you need to contact the official site account.

I did end up doing that, but want sure if there's any other steps I can take that others may have done. 😅

I've been seeing they are a bit slow to take action or pretty rough around the edges when it comes to customer support.

Uh didn't they ban "cheaters" just months ago and accidentally permaban people over an add-on? Yeah...

In almost any other game I would call BS.

However I had the misfortune of dealing with their "support" and in general Zennimax as a whole before and it was one of the single worst experiences I've ever had with customer "support" in general. So, I can believe folks running into issues.
