Next is a series of names that took lying down on the job to new depths. "Dies-A-Lot."

What funny names have you named your toons?

My argonian is called Swims-in-Circles. But other than that i tried to get lore friendly names for my chars.

Argonians are an obvious choice for punny names.

My mage healer lizard is called "Stares-At-Wounds", because that was the only not already taken name combination I found after an hour or so of trying that had to do with healing and being at least moderately funny and satisfactory.

I tend to to be like Motley though and generally prefer non-jokey names that at least appear to fit into the setting, although I've been guilty of using actual languages to mask my lack of imagination - For example for Imperials, I tend to mess around with Latin words to get some believable sounding name that also unoriginally points to what kind of character it is supposed to be.

French works well for Bretons, Arabic for Redguards, anything Scandinavian for Nords, you get the idea.

So depending on actual humour I guess it counts as 'funny' when I have a Nord whose name literally translates to "Shield Basher", only in a mix of Swedish and Danish words that kind of sound like a fantasy name.

I did some trials in a group with an Argonian tank (or was it a healer?) named Dies-to-Mechanics.

You might come across a khajiit named "Lair-Tail" as a reference to M'aiq.. or another khajiit named "This-One-Breaks-Things" for reference to This-One-Sell-Glyphs. Watch out for them!

@skyrim game. Yes, lame, simpleness lacking steroids, yada. However, when I modded the game to max enhance the environment (not NPC/quests/yada) rather - nature, sounds, yada I createdd aplace i can go and relax, see beautiful sunsets, lakes, waterfalls, and a nightsky that is deep as... this works for me. :) Make skyrim into what you want.
