MACs not worth it...
not nuff ppl using macs (they suck for gaming lmao) to have a team dedicated to apples OS/CPU bs....
BTW MAC is no longer shown on steampage as supported OS, so i guess you could`ve known this
Get a PC.
Sorry..
Hope this helps you
My 14-inch M1 MacBook Pro runs rings about the Windows gaming laptop I bought in 2020, especially on CPU where it's about 2.5x faster than that laptop and 1/4 faster on single-thread performance as my desktop's Ryzen 9 3900X (and the Mac laptop has about 2/3 the performance of the desktop part while using 1/10th the power). Farming Simulator 2022 (an Apple Silicon native program) runs perfectly fine and is more graphically demanding than ESO. Not to mention I can run Stable Diffusion on this computer, which is normally limited to high-end nVidia graphics cards on PC.
But tell me again how Macs suck for gaming....
Hey, i dont know what specs your "gaming laptop" has but im playing on a Strix Z690-a with i7 12700KF, 64GB ddr5 ram, 3 M2 NVMEs (7200er) and a 3080TI....
This setup wipes the ground with everything Apple ever released outside of their "graphic-design-terminals"
Dont get me wrong im using Imac for work... whole company is using it...
But i would never... EVER think about calling this thingys ready for "gaming"
Besides the fact that many MANY games dont even support apple its also super hard to change something about this games aka real modding (not talking about steamworkshop here lmao)
Fun fact, even when MAC was still supported by ZoS you coulndt use tools like TTC client for ESO... why? cuz friggin mac doesnt let u run "unverified applications"
Thats just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... I want to install what i want, when i want and from what source i want... No apple babysitting for me thanks...
Apples products are perfect for buissnes...
When a lot of Type-A users need a reliable computer to keep working...
For everyone else its just a cool looking apple logo sold for way to much cash
But Apple decided to introduce a complete new architecture the M CPUs and this architecture is just not completly compatible.
It's probably easier to make this game run on consoles than on those M CPUs, nowadays.
Still there are some able to play on this new Mac's, but it's not officially supported and probably won't in the future, so if it runs be happy, if not, yeah it's just not supported...
And switching the architecture was apples very own decision, and buying this new Mac's that aren't completely compatible was your very own decision, just to let you know who is really to blame...
Intel Macs are in the past. Intel is the past. Other games run fine so I guess we can just thumb down this game, free up the excessive disk space consumed and play one of the many games that run fine, from developers who care.
Im not Lying friend,
if you go to minimum requirements and klick on the MAC bar,
you will see supported MAC OS is "Mac® High Sierra v 10.13"
this OS version got its last update at 12. November 2020.
So newer Versions are NOT Supported...
As others here already said if ur still running a Mac-product with "Sierra v 10.13" you might be able to play ESO...
But its not a CURRENT OS version supported by Apple...
You most likely run macOS "Monterey"...
THIS is not supported...
So my comment stands... No support for Apple anymore
Whatever, I got my refund. Enjoy being a PC Master Race clown that whines about Macs without understanding them.
