OCE/SEA servers?
Are we ever gonna have servers in OCE or SEA ? there is such a big playerbase, and connecting to NA for some reason is the only MMO that gives me 300 ms. (from australia) all the other online games i play are 150~200 max.

You play NA? why?

Plenty australians and japanese people on EU... hell, plenty of everything not north american in EU. Although population wise NA seems to be on a better state currently.

I´m all in for new servers, but honestly I think first they need to solve the "your account is only on this server, for playing the other one you need to create another character". MOstly because it makes no sense, no other MMOs do it like so, and that would be the first step on adding more servers, thus people would be able to play wherever they want and in the case of adding new servers (which they should, a long time ago) people can continue playing but on another server, rather than having to decide if continuing with their characters and owned DLC but on a better server for them or on the other hand just continue playing with high pin just to keep your progress.

And since you are english speaker native, even better, since you won´t have to deal with the ... funny situation of using any other language than english in NA, pretty hilarious interactions I had on that server, for a country mostly formed by inmigrants is quite curious how they tned to react to anything "not ´merican".

because in all the other online games if you play EU it's 350 ping.

yeah that much isn't good either. even on East coast servers i get better pings than that. SO i really don't know whats up with that.

As an addendum to Space is the Place's comment, some americans play on European servers in online games because only a small handful of americans are kind and friendly, whereas the vast majority of non-americans ARE kind and friendly. I'm one of those kind-and-friendly americans that you see so few of, especially on the net, and I can't stand rude, obnoxious, overbearing, arrogant, egotistical THINGS, so I play with the right-thinking Europeans, even if it is next-to-impossible to find someone who speaks fluent english over there (apparently, britons only care for boring af management simulators).

I'm getting a good 230-250ms in Perth, highest it's ever been on a bad day was 270-280ms. No lagspikes or rubberbanding here, who's your provider? Dodo? :D

Telstra, im fine with all the other games on NA Servers except this one so i doubt its the ISP, i even tried VPN i was using for Lost ark.

Yeah then no clue, would say the servers but plenty of aussies I know play fine. Hopefully you'll fine a solution.

idk what you smoking, i mean from Australia to EU that i tested in all games its 350 ping. Ping is not universal lol.
When i was living in Greece ez 60~80 ping. why would i mean that everyone has 350 ping to EU lol.

I wish for an OCE/SEA server but as others mentioned it likely won't happen.
I am in 2 AUS/NZ guilds on NA with players from all-over the world yet the Australians have the worst ping no matter on what server they play, according to many I have spoken to (I am not australian myself so I rely on what many guildies told me).

ESO has high ping.
I get anywhere between 50 and 100 from the UK, which compares to 23 ping for Swtor and WoW EU, plus US WoW It's only 115.

I'm not sure ESO has west coast servers, which help Oceanic players out more than New York/Chicago based ones but perhaps someone who plays US ESO can clarify that.

As for Aus/NZ servers - there are not enough of you to warrant it. Very rarely are there enough players in an MMO past the first 2 years for it to put servers in a 3rd location (after US and EU) and definitely not always enough to put it in the 2nd location so, don't waste your breath hoping.
