Some macros can be quite simple, others can be quite complexed.
I did not know that it was against the rules in ES; O though, and to be frank, I have always been against allowing players to report other players, because this is what happens when you beat someone in PVP, and they can't deal with it.
They really need to remove that report system, or drastically improve it. It is not a good feature.
I did not use any of macro at all, even If I did he seems like an ignorance who forgot about attack speed.
Macro is just a set of commands which does not mean I can bypass atttack speed limitation.
Honestly I think it's just a lag,I saw him lieing down ot the ground and just stay there to be killed.
I was wondering at that moment why he did not move.
Honestly ,He is a really witless folk.
If he is not good enough why stand in the front line,The wall was breeched ,so I rush in first and killed him.
I am agree with reporting system.
This is the second time I got reported and accused for being a cheat,or uncoopertaion with group.
The first time I found someone with witless reported me and framed me for not following the world boss in Orsinium.
After that I quit ESO for a half year, since it's really annoying me.Even I am also reported player I don't get a damn thing except autoreply mail for investigating problem.
You know,I had reported bots but the moment I am sending report message it warned me about using too much will get yourself banned.
Silly really,The bots still roams about 3 days from the moment I reported them.
If you are going to be that lazy GM ,you can take it off,it's really useless and do more harm them solving anything.
Even if you did use a macro, I do not see why it would be illegal in ES; O. I do not know what Zenimax stance is on the use of Macro Commands, but it is not like they work the same as hacks, and macros are pretty much an industry standard nowadays. Hell, it is not as though there are not keyboards, such as the Logitech series, which come with Macro Keys on the keyboard. Even Mice have Macro Keys these days.
Apart from which, Zenimax would be the only publisher of an MMO that I know of who would ban someone for using Macro's, if they do ban players for that reason. I have used macros in many other MMO's before now, including World Of Warcraft, and there has been no issue. I don't see how Zenimax could justify banning someone for using what is essentially an industry standard now.
It sounds to me like the guy you defeated was just plain butt hurt about being killed in PVP. Hell, if it was me receiving his report, I would be inclined to either send him a reply saying "Bud, you died, get over it you ♥♥♥♥♥", or ban him for sending in an inflamatory report.
Easy as that.As I said even using a macro does not mean you can bypass attack speed limitation,If it can that's hacking speed.
I know I won't get banned for this reason but who knows if I met another 4-5 more witless human.
If Zenimax did not ban those player who accused me for nothing I would stopped any transaction.
Don't want to risk my money for free.A shame even eso has the best community I ever seen, still some of witless cause some part of them rotting.
Your always going to get ass hats in any online game though. Its their problem if they can't deal with being spanked every now and again. If that is how they play, and how they act, then they should just stick to PVE, because they definately aren't cut out for PVP.
I've only ever had 3 encounters in PVP. I don't go to Cyrodill that often since I am grinding to 50, rather than questing, but I won 1 encounter, and lost 2. The encounter I won was with some guy who charged at me, who probably thought he was going to win, because he was 3 levels higher than me, and I beat him, narrowly, but still, I beat him. The other two were deaths from players, one on one, when there was no one else around to help, and they were in their veteran ranks, while I was only level 25, so it was pretty much a none starter in both cases. I just got on with it, win or lose. There is no real reason to report someone for being in a PVP area. Winning or losing is the chance you take in my view. No matter how it turns out, the player should just man up, grow a pair, and move on.
The beauty of it is though, that the guy who accused you of using macros etc, was probably using them himself.
I guess so,man beacuse someone who never used them won't know anything about macro.
I don't know macro because I never used any gaming keyboard or gaming mouse.
After a while, I realized the carrier must have known the most-threatening alliance couldn't steal our Scroll. That alliance had no secured scroll of their own, so they weren't allowed to hijack ours if we were recovering one. That, and the carrier's bee-line for securing the scroll was directly for where we were supposed to secure it. The names and palaces had to match, and there was a time limit for carrying the Scroll.
Still, when you're doing something that important at LEAST explain "They don't have a Scroll, therefore they can only recover their own Scrolls" and that "I can't carry this for too long; gotta bee-line." Shouldn't leave it up to the entire zone and myself to figure it out when we're focused on coercing someone into turning left.
In that case it suit for him from getting a reported ,this is some kind of sabotage game play.
