Do I need to buy an Explorer pack dlc if I've just purchased Unlimited edition?

no, you dont need to buy it, but explorer pack DLC offer you to chose whatever race on every alliance, which is not necessary, but nice to have

for the DLC you can either buy subscription ESO+ OR you can also just buy the DLC directly

the ESO+ will give you access to all DLC, so its really worth the value

Don't buy explorers pack unless you want to PvP with a specific race for a specific faction. Soon you will be able to do everything outside of Cyrro(the pvp zone) and IC with people of other factions than your own, and you are able to do other factions quest already. But to answer your question, no it is not included in "unlimited", in fact the "Tamriel unlimited" doesn't even have the entire tamriel. nor is it part of ESO+. WIth ESO+ you will be able to play IC, Orsinium, TG and Dark Brotherhood, and any future DLC of that kind, and not the "upgrade"(imperial edition, explorer and starter pack) DLC

if you buy eso+ is that the monthly subscription thing ?
so if you say subscribe for a couple months, you get all dlc.. but when you stop paying do you lose access to dlc ?
