There are plenty of grind spots where you can rack up experience easily, but it's mind numbing. Not really worth playing the game just for that. Plenty of content to raise your level through quests.
For grinding, I usually pick a usual haunt and then blow through my enlightenment bonus. Once that's gone, I'll log off, play something else and then do it again once the bonus has built back up. Otherwise, it's questing/dailies.
As far as skyreach goes, should be able to solo that easily enough even without a ton of CP. Probably need to revisit your gear/build. Don't need anywhere near trial gear for it.
thats where i grind..... 1 lvl each roation
try arrow spray + calltrops + undaunted skill line orb+ vigor + a skill of a skill line you want to level up.
Pro tip:
Try leveling up other alt characters. Not only you are enjoying other aspects of the game you've bought, but the more alts you level up to try to match your first one, you'll find you will, overall, be leveling quicker than if you try to grind with only one character.
Grinding for XP and Testing a build are very close to opposites.
Grinding for XP is usually some sort of overland or instanced activity or small group activity while wearing gear with the Training trait to improve XP and burning an XP scroll or pot.
AlcastHQ has a guide, explains stuff, and even explains why overland mobs:

But the suggestion from Basil is solid - basically, just playing the game is a good way to level.
As far as Testing a build by wanting to solo vCOH2, i've looked at some old discussions that say it was possible at one time. Luck
This will put you into the dolmen zerg, and you can just surf it for far better xp than you could make grinding solo.
maybe ill just run solo in off peak times.
