Why can't I give the beggars gold ?
I see people (NPCs) begging in the city streets for just enough coin to buyu some stew... I click on them repeatedly to try and give them a coin but all I get is more of their lamentations... its sad... those poor people.

Also... I don't want to alarm anybody.... but I think a murderer might be loose in Hew's Bane.... bodies everywhere in the streets !

ZOS likes to shame people for being poor, and doesn't allow it's players give to the poor. Yet they can give you achievement for helping the poor. ZOS take the poor out of game or allow us ( your damm weekly paycheck ) to give gold, food or whatever we wanna give them.

You would be surprised what I have pick pocketted from those beggars.

♥♥♥♥ them, they are not that poor.

I have looted 300G's worth of items from one beggar before now.

At one point, those poor beggars had more gold on them, in the form of tradable items, than my main toon did.

If they were that hungry, and that poor, then they should have traded their fat loot for food.

They could survive for a week at least, selling those items.
