REALM STATUS says ONLINE, but login and get error 103. Maintenence would put Realm Status at RED = Offline.

ESO redit: says ESO is working on problem

Yeah servers aren't down, according to ESO some peeps are having trouble logging onto the NA megaserver, myself included.
I'm new to game as well and wonder how often this kind of thing happens?

They're pulling the server down @ 9pm edt and say it could take a cpl of hours, which I'm guessing means they dont really know long it'll take :P

The issue with NA megaserver started about an hour ago. Here is ZOS official statement:

"We are currently investigating issues some players are having regarding logging into the North American PC/Mac megaserver. We will update as new information becomes available.
In response to the ongoing issue, the North American PC/Mac megaserver will be taken offline for maintenance."

This may be what is causing your issue.

Well, l got the same problem, went to check update on steam and looks like is downloading lost of files right now!

Same. Did Maintenance all day so probably issue with the maintenance crap they did. But no update on relm status because techs are probably eating dinner or something.

Maintenance today was reportedly downtime for server hardware upgrades, so might be a hardware issue. Also, some people are still online so it is not affecting all players.

So, i take it that means expect it to be up and running from anywhere between 8 hours, to 3 days then?

ESO is down more often than it is up.
