Can't Activate my account

I just bought the game and i keep trying to go into my email and activate my account because i cannot sign into it but every time I try it just says account not activated. Which is weird because I am using the activate my account link in my email.

After yoy created tour account on the TESO Website, you have to link it with your steam CD key.
Open your steam library, right clic on TESO, "shaw cd key" and copy / paste it in your TESO account.

And to add on what Akatosh stated. Go to the "Redeem code" section that's where you have to enter your CD key. If you are still not getting through make sure the CD Key code that you entered is correct letter by letter. Number by number as it appears.

If it still doesn't work. Contact support and inform them of the problem you are having.

Refund game from STEAM, then go to ESO website and buy and download ESO from them. STEAM IS NOT required to run game.
