ESO needs a remaster.....

Im gonna start by saying ik that we all think of re releases in a bit of a bad light most of the time what with the numerous skyrim releases or bad remasters like the ds1 remaster but here me out here. ESO is in a state where its to my understanding actually full blown growing at a pretty ok rate and even if it can be buggy or laggy or any of the other litany of issues the game has we all love it and have a permanent place in our game libraries for it but even though that is the case none of us I would imagine would say its graphics are even remotely close to good for a game of its size in the current day and of course cyrodill and trials can just guzzle ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ram like a certain browser demon we all know **cough** chrome!! **cough**cough** and personally even if they charged a full ♥♥♥♥♥♥ 70 for the remaster while letting us carry over all dlc and cosmetics and everything we bought and had in base eso and it literally just just better graphics, voices, and animations i would in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HEARTBEAT buy a remaster especially if it was done in a engine like ue5 which could open up the possiblility of new classes and animations and just way better graphics and fps.

All in all i feel that ZOS and bethesda should think about just how large a community and a solid one at that that ESO has and they should take the chance to squeeze not just a extra 70 bucks outta all of us but also secure further their place in our game libraries seen as games like ashes are getting closer and closer to release each day with as it stands when ashes hits beta 1 than im going to likely delete ESO simply to free up space and since Ashes just on a base playability level is seeming to be LEAGUES beyond eso but if there was a remaster of eso in a new engine that can handle so much additional content and makes the game look beautiful than that would secure in my mind me finding a place for eso and ashes at the same time. like really I guess what all this is to say is that they should stop with the adding systems like the card games that people at least dont hate seen as it doesnt hurt the game necessarily and instead focus on how they can make this game last forever.

edit: 2 things with the first is ik my typing sucks but im not good at writing on paper or by typing in general and so im sorry but you'll either have to ignore it or i guess be so annoyed you dont engage with this disscussion i guess and for another thing, please leave your opinions about things unrelated to this disscusion exactly like what you may think about ashes of creation for a different disscusion and please disscuss the subject i brought up and actually elaborate your reasons you agree or disagree if you wanna engage please.

sorry that you got conned into waiting for some vaporware. If it makes you feel any better, AoC wasnt the first nor last scam of this nature.

go ahead and call it a scam my man but alpha one wasnt to long ago and what that already had in it was more than enough to show there is a game here and so at this point it isnt a question of are they gonna ghost the world and give us nothing but a merely a question of will it live up to expectations and alpha one and all alpha two content they have been teasing so far has already blown past my expectations and you my good sir are also going to be reported for your off topic disscusions....

ESO doesn't need a remaster, remake or re-release.

ZOS needs to get their act together and fix the issues instead of sweeping them under the rug and distracting people with "content" updates.

So you make a thread in the ESO forum, whining about ESO and talking about AoC, then have a meltdown on people when they mention that AoC is a scam, and then threaten to report people. Report twice just to be sure.

Sounds like youre in the wrong forum. You will have to cope with AoC being a scam and people telling you about that when you bring it up on forums.

i made a quick ass comparison to AoC my dude. thats it.... i simply made a off handed comment that i would be switching to AoC when it hits beta one if ESO stayed in its current state which is why when you go on a tangent crying about AoC i get annoyed as this is talking about whether AoC needs a remaster or not and not how everyone feels about AoC cause hell even if you convinced me, lets say i full on agreed with you that AoC wont happen and its all a sham that still means when the next big game that catches my interest comes out im leaving eso for it because eso however fun it can still be and however much i can still enjoy it and love it for bringing me over 1500 hours of joy so far its old and dated and theres only so much longer i can enjoy it as it is.

ultimatly i feel like a remaster wont happen cause like a previous commenter pointed out it is a really big undertaking but honestly i would agree that some amount of care to fix whats there is kinda more so i guess what the initial question was asking for when ya think about it so yea i hope one day ZOS understands half assed pvp inclusions like cyrodill just suck by their vary nature and realise ESO is a open world PVE MMORPG and that the focus should be fixing that content and improving it rather than even engaging with their broken tacked on answer to open world pvp. like majority of us perfer the pve side of things and more trials and th dungeons that challenge us rather than letting us beat the vet versions solo with one ability is what is needed most.

There is zero chance that ESO will ever get a remaster. To do a proper remaster like people would want and create the game in a new graphics engine, just that part alone is like 80% of the effort towards just making a whole new game.

So ESO will never get a remaster. It might get a sequel if ES 6 sells well. So at best, you'd be looking at ESO 2 releasing 8-10 years from now.

Ashes of Creation is overrated and I expect it to end up like Star Citizen. But when it eventually releases, will be better than the absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was New World.

to be fair, at least new world released, whereas AoC is looking more like a full scam as they attempt to sell people on expensive cosmetics during its alpha, tho I agree new world was garbage.

Seriously, stop doing drugs!
And stop thinking about an ESO remaster. Devs already commented that there will not be a rework of older content since they focus on adding new content.
What they should rather do than splitting up the playerbase even more is to implement crossplay between PC and consols even though it would hurt the ingame economy in the first place it definitely pays off in the long run.

i already agreed they likely wont and acknowledged that this really is a disscussion i made just because i want them to fix the issues that currently exist in the game currently

they could fill the screen with bars without needing to remake or remaster anything. They simply dont want to because ESO players dont want more. We have 10 slots to build around and if you need more than that, you are doing something wrong.
