Tried DPS tried Tank and won't even bother with healer. The first boss is a one shot killer every time and you can't even outrun it. Absolute garbage. Why play it? I was hoping for the Monster Set that is apparently good for groups....So yes I'm angry about it.

UPDATE: Thanks for all the advice! I've completed all dungeons (I think) but only some in Veteran mode. I'm thinking ... a lot of this depends on the group you get. Some groups fly through dungeons and others struggle and struggle. It's got to be the group than.

I reached up to the last boss on veteran with a group of guildmates that I had never played with before. from what I understand this vet dlc dungeon requires co-ordination between teammates.

"The tank has to make sure to turn the boss away from the group because he has a conal poison spit attack that deals a lot of damage. With the cone attack there will also be a large AoE on the ground that deals damage but is farily easy to avoid.

Now he usually goes into hiding and you have to search the boss. The group has to go TOGETHER to search for the boss, because once you get to him he will jump on a party member and you need to interrupt the boss, otherwise that party member will die if not interrupted. During the hiding phase mobs will spawn and small AoE circles will randomly spawn that have to be avoided." - Alcast HQ guide.

As you can see, the group has to go search TOGETHER when the boss starts hiding, and when you find him, he will pick 1 player to jump on. the other 3 have to interrupt him. DO NOT split the party.

i dont think it is garbage, because when it comes to 4man dungeons people only really fail them because they havent experienced enough the dungeon in question. And like, if people are doing vet content with trash gear i have nothing to say...

having to line up 4 people who know what to do is sometimes impossible if going with randoms

I don't even remember the first boss, I only remember the king that clones himself and the final boss, which is beautifully designed

Vet dungeons need to be run with a competent team, might be worth hooking up with an active guild to get the mechanics down. I can do Vet dungeons but i don't like them, i'll run hel ra citadel a 1000 times or even do sunspire but vet stuff nah.

Veteran DLC Dungeons are no joke. Yes they become easy over time when you get so used to it, but they still require a team to know what they're doing. I can tank and heal vDoM all day long, but dps'ing the dungeon, frustrates me.

It's easy, have done it already several times (vet and vet HM) as damage dealer and as tank, even with randoms and even with group DPS at about 20k (as tank).

But you have to know the mechanics and how to play, every one shot is completely avoidable and I think besides the ghost wall there is nothing that is a one shot for a competent tank at all.

And with the right group it can be done relatively quick.

I started watching this ... I will try a few times on veteran ... I can say this ... it doesn't look the same as he's saying on this video ... the first boss ...

first boss as a tank you can just block everything and just move out of the poison stuff he throws at you

It's one of those bosses where the tank might get the team killed if not careful.
