I had TESO standard version + morrowind purchased directly from ESO store. started new account there and had 500 crowns. Now i bought the game on steam, so do i need to make another character? or current character will have access to new DLCs bought from steam? Also will i be able to use crowns i had earlier?

"Once you have the correct version of Steam, you can then link your Steam account to your ESO account.

From the Steam Library, select The Elder Scrolls Online and press Play.
Allow the ESO Launcher to open, download and apply any required updates, and select Play.
From the in-game login screen, select the “I have an existing PC/Mac Elder Scrolls Online account” checkbox.
Input your ESO UserID and password and select Login.
Select Accept on the link confirmation window." *

You will keep all previous characters and everything you had. If you're coming from console to pc you lose everything from what I've heard, though your console version will still have everything.

1. No need to make another character, just make sure to link your Steam on your ESO account page on the website, and then login using those details through the Steam launcher.

2. ZOS and Steam versions of ESO functionally exist as separate licenses. Since you've bought the base game from both, you have both licenses. As long as those accounts are linked, any DLC you buy/activate on Steam or ZOS will be accessible through either launcher.

3. Your crowns will be accessible through either launcher as well.

Taking advantage of the theme.
In my case, I have the base game and all the expansions, except high isle. If I buy the base game on steam and log in with my account, will I still have access to all my content?
Or do I also have to buy the expansions on steam?

Yes, you'll have access to all the content you already have, through both ZOS and Steam launchers. Just make sure that account is the one you link to your Steam.
