Patch delivery system needs a desperate overhaul.
It's one thing to have a big patch (though with my DLS,8Gb is quick), but to have the patch application process take hours? It's unacceptable. Every time a patch comes out it goes through all 60+Gb, it's dumb.

I remember this being an issue for a while now, why is it still like this?

basically what happens is once the patch is downloaded it applies it then verifies all the files. None of these issues surprise me. This is one of the most bugged games ive ever played.

I'm having the same issue now, this is unacceptable. Negative review coming up.

When I came home this afternoon, Elsweyr was installed. So no issues here.

I agree, this is really bad. I'm at 30% downloaded and have been waiting now for 1 or 2 hours, to log in. -.-

My download is taking forever but keeps stopping at 32% showing an error ! My son has ESO but not through Steam and it took just minutes to download and install the latest patch ! this must be down to Steam servers !

Agreed. Especially now that Xfinity is charging for extra 'data usage'.

I had the same thing last night, 7 Gb update, and after that it went through all files which took 1,5 hours. It also installed dozens of very small patches. Overall it took about 2 hours, what's strange is my download seemed capped at 19 Mb/sec (usually when I download something from the internet through Firefox it's around 125 Mb/sec).
