EU or NA. (EU and NA can't trade)
Second: good luck finding "cheap" heartwood since it's one of more valuable materials.
it all depends on what you consider "cheap".
Cheap as in 200 logs at 1000 crowns.
Yes thats cheap but worth a try.
If you give me 1000 crowns for 200 logs I'll immediately sell, but I suspect you mean gold (crowns are not exactly tradeable between players)
and getting full stack for 1000 gold...
well...
it's over 1000 gold PER piece...
Last event I sold full stack for 600k gold and that was undercutting competition by far.
2. Crowns go for 2-3k gold. Heartwood goes for 1-2 k gold. If you want exchange wood for crowns just sell crowns for gold and go buy your heartwood.
If you join a guild and become active in it, you might find some folks that will give you some to make your furniture for free. :)
Also note: Heartwood is NOT a primary resource. It only drops SOMETIMES when harvesting other wood.
How many are you trying to get?
I thought you had to find ones called heartwood but they seem to be part of other logs.
Oh wait...
Oh hi, it's the gloom and doom guy again.
After crafting 12 boxes for each writ ( after harvesting 24 heartwood and after getting loads of winter festival writ token before that ) to get a Skaal armour set I had two Skaal shields wasting my efforts on duplicated stuff.
I found a guild who sells the yellow motif armour sets cheaper than going through all that lot for ten days. I liked the challenge of it but it was a waste of time and coin as i should have just bought the armour from a guild in the first place.
Those writs also give you writ vouchers and a lot of experience as well though. (once completed)
The writ vouchers can be used to purchase workshop stations for your house as well as a lot of other cool stuff.
