It collects the data from the guild trading history and your own tradings. So if no one in your guild already sold that item you are looking at, there is just basically no data. The more guilds, the bigger your guilds are and the more trading your guild does the more data you will get.

Master merchant works the same.

The only difference is the addon for Tamriel Trade Center, but there you have to install also a exe which runs in the background and synchronizes the data with a web service:
You can find it here: https://eu.tamrieltradecentre.com/pc/Trade

ESC-Settings-Addons-ATT-Show Graph, set to on.

I thought those addons are scanning selling history of every user (with guilds) who is using it and then it's sharing to everyone.

No, TTC is doing that. If you post something in the store or go to the store the items/prices will be posted to the website.
ATT and MM are only showing the sales in the guilds of the user.
So TTC for posted prices and ATT and MM for Sales Statistics.

Are the boxes at the bottom of the window empty or to they have a mark? It might take time to load the data.

Are you in a normal guild or trading guild? Trading Guilds usually offer a discord with instructions and addon recommendations
