Characters Creation VS Free Inn Room

The 3 races I like are : DC Breton / AD Kajiit / EP Nords. Can I create 3 Bretons, 3 Kajiit, and 3 Nords characters. And still got the 8 Free Inn room quest. Or all 9 characters have to be all different races? Also they say that I have to start the quest in town to get the Inn room quest, room to spare. How to do that with all characters(exceopt the main one). After the character creation, do I have to choose to not do the tutorial? And is the game will ask me what town I want to start to play, if I don't do the tutorial?

Yes, you can get the rooms. You have just to travel to the town. If you skip the tutorial it will drop you in the latest chapter you own.

Their acquisition is via "quest", and each different one can be done only once per server (cuz the housing is serverwide). You can do them all, but only 1 per character, so create up to 8 and do each w a different one. The base game has 3--1 per faction--and 1 per chapter on all 5 chapters so far. You don't need to keep the character to keep the room, so create spares and destroy after claim the room (or use as mules while convenient).

ok, it mean I have to do the tutorial 9 times, and choose a town after the tutorial is finish? Also, with my main character, when I will get to level 10, I wil get a free horse. Do I wil get a free horse for every character I level up to 10, or is it just for the 1st character? Also, when I wil have many character, when I change character, is the new character I will play wil start at the last place I was when I played it? Or, it will start at the last place I was with the previous character I played?

No you don‘t, as I wrote you will land in the newest zone you own and can travel anywhere. No, you will get the horse for your account, all your chars will be able to use the same horse, but all will have to level it up themselves. If you switch chars each will be at the same place as when you logged out from that char, as each has it‘s own story.

oh and please don‘t create 8 new chars now, they are a lot of work, you won‘t get anything done and get frustrated. You can buy the inn rooms for gold too.

- Once you unlock the level 10 horse for 1 character, the horse will unlock on every character you have and future ones you create. This also applies to any in-game mount

- Once you unlock the Free Inn room for 1 character, the room will unlock on every character you have and future ones you create. This also applies to any in-game home

- Your characters will start in the last place they were located and aren't affected by your other characters location

- I believe you can skip the tutorial after you complete it once but unfortunately I don't remember if you will have the choice to pick a town if you skip

Thanks! But just to be sure. My 1st and main charater I create is a Breton. I decide to start the game in Vivec Vardenfell after the tutorial. When I have choose the quest ''A friend in need Free DLC'' in game store, it gave me Blackwood Leyawin as the room I can get for free for that character. I went to claim the room, and after return to Vivec to start the game from there. I'm now still in Vivec and level up my 1st character there. If I create a new character, will it start the game in Vivec, and the Inn room I will be able to claim is the Inn room in Vivec?

the way i done it is to just make 1 character, skip toturial, then go to the place where the free inn room is, get that quest in that dlc area (or one of the 3 base game places, think it actualy needs the same faction) and then get a free inn room in each dlc place, and then delete that character after the quest is done and i got the free inn room, and then repeat it whit a new character in a differend place

- I think the only way to choose a starter location is to do the tutorial. However, you can travel to a location later on if you don't want to redo the tutorial, which is what I recommend to save time

- I'm not certain where you will start if you skip the tutorial, but when I create a new character and skip the tutorial, I start in Blackwood

- You should also be able to claim the inn room in vivec city on your main Breton character just by going to the in-room location and speaking to the lady standing in-front of the inn room door

No, I went to Vivec with my 1st character, and even before I went to blackwood to claim the Inn room the game gave me after the tutorial, because as I said I choose Vardenfell, Vivec as my 1st destination, I don't even understand why I did not got that Vivec Inn room to claim with the quest, instead of Leyawiin Inn room. And, I cannot claimed it, just buy it with gold. The only room I'm really interested to get right now is the one in Vivec, this is why I want to do it the right way. What race character I should create to get that room. And if the game start me somewhere else than In Vivec Vardenfell, will I be able to get that Inn room with a quest.

Not sure why it matters if you have all those free inn rooms unless you bought all the dlc storage containers. Maybe you did. If not, you are going to be stuck with at most 2 boxes to put stuff in.

I could be wrong, as I just started the game not long ago.

So, after testing it out, I figured out how to claim the Vivec City inn room for free. You'll need to create a new character and make sure you travel to Vvardenfell or Vivec city before you launch the quest(Room to Spare) from the crown store. Additionally, the race you pick doesn't matter and you can skip the tutorial
