I suggest you try Guild Wars 2, but if you're gonna try it, make sure to upgrade your acc or you're gonna have miserable experience.
I have also tried guild wars 2 its another waste of time Imo the pvp is not balanced and has got worse there since the last expansion, theres nothing decent around right now im still hunting for something 'new' myself, mmorpg life sucks :/
Theres a few games 'upcoming' but waiting for games now is just meeh. they will release have some hype get trashed by dumb decisions of devs and etc etc etc the circle of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ continues.
In any case, you are absolutely wrong;
- "Combat flow" implies that there is a structure to PvP, there isnt one. Its just mindless button mashing to dish out most damage in the smallest time possible. For Honor is a game that has combat flow, for example. Absolver is another example(though both are terrible games still).
- Resources are a joke, there is no gameplay-effecting distinction between a magicka character and a stamina character. And it will get even more ridiculous with the coming hybridization bullmanure. As an example again, in WoW, you had different resources for every character, that actually effected their playstyle. Warriors had to be constantly in battle and throw everything they have constantly to utilize their resource better, whilst rogues had to wait for the most opportune moments to be able form combos for maximum efficiency.
-On top of that, there is no statplay in this game, makes how the resources work even more faulty. Just because you maxed your magicka, you can heal as efficiently as if you are a healer. Results with everyone using the "best of everything" copy-paste builds. You know, Vampirism for unlimited invisibility with no counter(some fanboy sweat-kid now will reply with "bUt tHeRe aRe ReVeAl SkiLs"), Heavy Armor for tankiness without any tradeoff, Bow for broken ranged posion proc, dual daggers for one hit insta-kills. Literally almost everyone in Battlegrounds uses this exact same build. So much for "Build Diversity".
Most people who plays PvP in this game are only doing so because of the random daily xp gain, and the rest of the PvP playerbase are your usual pathetic sweat-kid minority. You know, the ones who use AWP in CSGO or LeBlanc/Yasuo in LoL and think they are genius level professional players but actually all they are doing is exploiting the broken game balance? Yeah.
PvP in ESO is a bloated joke, and nothing else.
Examples are plaguebreak being added to discourage purge spam, when purge could have been given a cooldown or they remove the ridiculous heal component that made it a one button spam for healing and purifying in the first place.
ZOS wants to balance the game throughs sets, but forgets that things that are overtuned like Warden's Crystalized Shield that can still reach over 150K shielding of "projectiles", Necro healer pet that can heal over 20k ticks, living dark that can heal over 18k each tick, etc. the list is endless.
I can tell you that on live right now I run builds that are immortal and kill people, and it's so so incredibly sad. Zero skill needed...but that is also why I say that PvP in the game is trash as well - it is.
It's not PvP, but build v build. The outcome is decided before you even encounter the person, esp. if you are wearing bugged sets, mythics ZOS won't nerf, and arena weapons on a "hybrid" .
You can tank 50+ on live again or maybe even more, no idea since there was no threat of dying on my templar or necro while they kept dropping.

Then the first thing they did was make a new CP system?
To be fair, everyone is only a healing juggernaut because of all the powercreep in the game and poor attempts to address it.
The poor attempts to address balance in PvP have only widened the gap between builds and made the problem worse.
Ah, the fanboy sweat-kids, finally.
Nice counter argument.
